This is in another thread. But I thought I would ask it this way. Do you folks have any idea all the Taxes you pay Everyday/ Year?
Have you ever took time to see how your money shrinks more and more? Do you ever wonder why?

I thought there was just a huge up roar from the left on latest tax cuts??
Had 3 headlines today. Highest gas price-highest month of home sales and crime at 30 year low. I wonder which will on the news all night??

I worry more about this

or the fact that Islamic fundalist are actively recruiting muslims in prison populations--but then again if you look who initiated several of the protests during the war it is not so surprising.

DTB That crime rate better be getting lower. They started throwing many dollars at it way back with old Dad Bush and Clinton. But here again your correct we need to read between the lines. Majior crime still down. Smaller stuff up. And that seems right. When ever you have high umployment. Many just deside to go steal from there neighbor. Or they steal items and then go an hock them for cash.
As for taxes reason I ask if people even pay attentin how the burden just get's shifted. They may get a cut someplace. But then they get nailed another place. And these fees They dont like to call taxes. There the real sneak attack. Hey it's just not today it's been going on long time.
We keep interest rates low we have a chance to build more houses. They bump them a little and im afraid it will slow. The deficit were about to run could do that. House build rate now on a 6 year run longest in history.
But your right we will here tonight many times about how Bushs ratings are falling. I guess that is news to because they are below 50% for first time. And the support for the war and how it,s being handled are down even lower then last week. This is what you will hear a lot tonight.

DJV I think the crime rate drop was probably one of the few constructive things I'll give Clinton credit for. It is too early in Jrs term for anything he could have done to impact this soon. Whats gets me is one of the Supreme Court members (I forget which one) came out a few days ago and is for doing away with the manditory sentences for crimes that is probably the most significant reason for the downturn. go figure.

A couple of congress men think a tax set side for the war on terror for homeland security may be agood idea. Something like the S/S fund. A good way to keep eye on the dollars so they get spent the right way. You chittem me. They dam near borrowed the S/S fund dry alread compared to what good be left in it. Said another way. They think to much. Be nice if we could just get some good work out those over paid what evers. Time to vote a punch those 20 years duds the hell out of DC.
