Although the 1st week wasn't as profitable as I would have liked. It was profitable nonetheless. That's what counts. Now back to the drawing board for week 2.

Wink'in (me like)
Blink'in (a lean)
and Nods (no action)

MIA/NYJ +2.5 37

At first glance ....Too close for comfort.

JETS are 4-14 ATS in Sept games at home & 0-9 the first 2 weeks of the season and 7-26at home coming off a road loss.
NOD

-----------------

CLE/BAL -2 40.5

How can the Ravens be favored here?
Brownies "D" held the potent Indy "O" to 9 pts and 271 yds.
Okay so their "O" was nowhere to be found.

Cleveland was perfect 7-0 as a Sept Dog b4 LWs 3 pt loss in the final 1 second. and are 8-3 ATS in Sept as well as 10-3 ATS vs conf opponent.
Brownies for dessert? Wink Wink

-----------------

TEN/IND -2.5 44

Titans off an emotional Sunday Night revenge affair against the Faders but the Colts are a nasty 3-11 spread play at home and a horrid 1-9 ATS in their second game of the season.
However as a HD Indy checks in with a 14-7 ATS record and is 12-3 TAS off SU RD win.

Titans were 0-6 in Sept & 1-6 ATS on turf.

Got me. Still I'm Blink'in at the Titans

--------------------------

DET/GRB -6.5 46.5

Time for the Lions to pay the piper as their opening day showing only serves to alert the Pack.
QB Harrington was 17-of-30 w/ 4 TDs but check the "D" 439 yds allowed to 'Zona!
Farve had 4 INTs but note they nearly came back from a 27-1 deficit in the 3rd Q at home vs Minny.

The Pack own the Lions at Lambeau w/ an 9-1 ATS edge as series host (won 41-14 LY). Throw in the series chalk is on an amazing 11-1 spread run and you have a solid.......

Wink Pack Wink

---------------------------

WAS/ATL -3 39

Not going here.

NOD

--------------------

BUF/JAX +2.5 43.5

Jags in off blowing 17-0 2nd half lead at Carolina. They are 6-0 ATS as HDs & 14-4 ATS as Sept hosts.

Bills counter with 1 loss on non-division road since '01 was by 3.5 pts.

Bills were 0-4 ATS LY off a home win & 3-16 ATS off a win by 10 or more pts over division rival.

Blink'in at the Bills

---------------------

HOU/NOR -8.5 40.5

Despite LW upset at Miami Texans are 2-4 ATS on non-division road by 21,28,17, & 9.5 pts.

Houston was 0-4 LY ATS coing off a win.

Aints are a perfect 8-0 OVER vs AFC opponents.
They are only 1-9 ATS as a HF of 7.5 to 14 pts.

Haslett is 5-0 ATS vs foes off an upset.

Winks are marching in

-----------------------

SF/STL -3 47

Rams are on a 1-6 spread slide but they have reached at least 30 pts in all 3 division hosters LY while SF allowed 31 & 35 pts in their last 2 division RGs.

49ers are 5-13 ATS vs conf opponent

Series chalk has covered an impressive 21-5-1.

Bulger gets a Blink

------------------------

PIT/KC -3 48

Do I really want to go here?
Nope.
KC was 6-1 ATS LY in the first half of the season.
Pitt 12-3 ATS as a dog.

NOD
-------------------

CAR/TB -9 ???

In Carolina history they have played the Bucs 5 times ALL went UNDER the total.
Total.
Carolina was 7-1 UNDER as an away dog LY.
Bucs 15-6 after a win of 10 pts or more.

Hmm

--------------------

SEA/ARZ +4.5 44.5

Better grab the Pepmo Bismal. Yup we have an upset in the making.
Seattle is just 1-7 as a road fav w/ Holmgren & 5-15-1 ATS as a division chalk off a HG.
Seahags 14-6 on the Sept road.

Blink'in. It's in the Cards

Hold your hand.
'Zona 1-10 ATS off a loss by 10 pts or more to a division rival.
Also 4-11 ATS in Sept HGs.

----------------------

NWE/PHI -5.5 ???

Must still be looking at the same menu. All I read is Upset Special.
The battle of wounded animals. Neither team got on the scoreboard LW.
Catching the Eagles off a Monday Nighter is a plus in its self. Add that Philly is just 1-9 ATS as a chalk of more than 3.5 pts in the AFC.

Eagles are 0-4 ATS LY in non-conf games.

Patsies are 23-13 ATS as non-division puppies.

Blink'in a Patsies

--------------------------

DEN/SD +3 43.5

Now Showing: "The Gods must be Crazy part 3"
Grab your Popcorn & Bon Bons boyz cause this show will bring the dough.

I know what your thinking, punk. With Oakland on deck it would be a great time to buck the Broncos.
But Denver is 10-1 ATS in their second game of the year.
Let me count Cincy, San Diego. Yup its two.

Chargers 5-17 when the HG TOTAL was between 42.5 to 49 pts.

Blink'in at the Broncos

---------------------------

CIN/OAK -12 45.5

Raiders are on a 10-1 spread run in HOs & are 9-2 ATS b4 playing a Monday Nighter.
LY they average 40.5 ppg in their first 4 starts and are a stellar 5-0 vs the points when hosting the Bungles.

Faders are 9-2 ATS as a HF of 7.5 to 14 pts.

Cincy is 1-8 ATS when the total is equal or greater than 45.5 and are 12-29 ATS in Sept.

Blink'in at the Faders

----------------------

CHI/MIN -8.5 46.5

Vikings are on a 6-1 division spread run with their only miss by 1 pt.
Bears are opposite extreme with a current 0-6 ATS division record.
Chicago 1-8 ATS b4 GB but 7-2 ATS in dome games.

Vikings are an impressive 7-1 ATS hosts off a SU dog win.

Wink'in at the Vikings

-----------------------------

DAL/NYG -7.5 37

I really don't want to go here. But when I seen the inflated 7.5 point spread. I must.

Tuna returns to the Big Apple.
Giants are 12-4 ATS off a home win.

Dog is 20-9-1 ATS in Dallas games.

Giants are just 22 pts from a 5-23 spread slide.

Da Boyz are 11-4 ATS in division ROs while NY is on a dismal 1-7 Monday run & Coach Fassel is only 2-9 as a favorite of more than 4.5 points.

No Winks. No Blinks. No Nods. No play for me regardless

--------------

Now the hard part. Looking a bit more deeper into the games & narrowing them down

Best to all

I don't quite understand College Football. Maybe I shouldn't try to.
No matter how much time I put into a game and/or how strong the play is .....LOSER
It's just not worth it.
You either have it or you don't. Obviously I'm the latter.

NFL now gets my 100% attention after this week.
PERIOD.

I'm going over my NFL plays with a fine tooth comb before posting. There's something in the air this weekend and I don't like the smell.

Tell you what.....

Tell you what.....

A funny thing happened at the counter of my SportsBook this early morning.
I went there with picks in hand, seen the line movements and thought of yesterdays failures, after of a few ( to many) cocktails.... To make a long story short I threw away my selections yes and all my trends & stats, capp'in materials & what-not and here is what I ended up with.......

INDY- 2
JAX (yes I said the Jags) + 3
SAN DIEGO + 3.5
WASHINGTON + 3.5

all 4 of the above anti public plays.

STL - 2.5 (ouch)
KC - 3
CAROLINA + 9.5

There they be..... Senors Seven

and after sitting here, realizing that I may have looked too deep into my plays again ...I started looking at my tickets knowing that I faded all the trends from LY I still really like my plays (little leary of St Louie) but I'm happy.
Anti-Public Jags, the upseting Panthers, 'Skins and Chargers have the hook, Indy, well indy ?? anywayz I love KC.
