A cautionary word on Gatech/Reno
GaTech is likely to cover against Nevada and eliminate them with prejudice.They are very dangerous because they advanced last weekend without playing up to expectations(didn't cover,barely slipped by) in each game they played.Nevada-Reno as everyone knows by now played their asses off last weekend in both games,exceeding expectations(covering and winning in both against top notch competition.)I have to say this game stands out as a major play on GaTech to explode in Nev-Reno's faces,while Reno is going to be very hard pressed to play a third fantastic game in a row.The way to cap this tourney is based on how they've done,both teams in a particular game vs the spread and total up to that point in the tournament.When Arizona won the national championship with Bibby and Miles Simon,they advanced the first weekend without covering and then beat Kansas as a 10 point dog in their third game,and never were headed.Beware the teams that do this,especially when they play a team that has covered both previous two games ala UNR.In somthing I've never seen before in 20+years of following this technique,I've never seen two 0-2 ATS teams advance from the first round to play each other,but thats what we have in St.Joes/Wake.Getting on the over in that one myself.Gl to you and your friend.
