Col/Mil ---- Gawd the Rockies stink on the road. This thread is well known for J. Jennings bashing, I know, but a road ERA just under 5 last 5 weeks
If you throw out the trip to the Bronx, its around 3. For the Brew Crew, Doug Davis has been outstanding last 8 weeks except a burp at SD. Col road BA .239 (.230ish w/o Helton) and OPS .691 (w/Helton) not stellar. Plus the Rockies save their very-most-brutal performances for when they face LHP. Brewers are hot, but not b/c they're ringing up the scoreboard (under 4 runs/game at home last week w/ a 7 run balloon in there). Davis just has to neutralize Helton to get it done here........Under 9, -115
ChC/StL --- Maddux is getting it together and he spearheads a BIG series w/StL for the NL Central lead this week.He comes up against the proverbial unstoppable force (if you're not a Korean Bong:weed: ) at Busch where he handled them pretty well last trip. Cubs coming in to StL rakin' it and playing overall sound ball last 2 weeks. I can't pick a winner, but I believe that winner is good for 6-7 runs. Lean to Cubs, but I like a wilder game here tonite..............Over 9, +101
Cle/CWS ---- The "ace" goes at Comiskey to cool off the red-hot Tribe tonite. Loaiza has a nice record against them, but will get chipped now and again. Elarton gets hit-a-ton by everybody except the Expos. I can't see the CWS letting it slip by tonite after mixing up some weak sauce last nite. Bridgeport Lumber Company is in business.....Bird-UP...........CWS -180/Over 9.5 for 1 Unit (100/190)
Atl/Fla ---- Bravos have stuck it to the Fish so far this season, but Pavano at home is NASTY this year. He's smokin' on top of that. Gonna be an All-Star, and NOT because he's schtoopin' Alyssa Milano (or was anyway). Wright has been a solid performer all year as well, but the revenge factor rears its ugly head here. Florida is the better team....period........Marlins -149
Gonna wrap the Rangers/Yanks for a 1-Unit as well, but cannot take credit for the look there. Maybe even CWS/NYY/Tex wrapped as well!!!!! Maybe throw Schilling in there!!! I'm feeling frisky
