Took the Wednesday card off, mostly because whenever I have a big win I tend to play too much the next night and give some back -- so I felt it was best to just sit it out and enjoy watching the Mets tonight. Good move too, since most of my leans are losing right now.


Texas +101....Mostly a play against Elarton here, and the era he carries of over 8. Rodriguez is inexperienced, but his era is 2.16 so I don't have a lot of reason to doubt him here. I just feel you've got a dog here who is the better overall team, with a pitcher who is by far the lesser of two evils. Elarton hasn't won a game this year for a reason.

Yup -- his era was around 12 I believe as a Rocky but he has improved in Cleveland. Still feel he has no business being favored.

I love this Ranger lineup -- young, fast, and hungry. Right now they are hitting the cover off the ball.

Rodriguez was pretty nasty today too --- hopefully he can build on this start.

Adding LA/Houston over 8.5 -102.....Dodger bats have been hot, and the Astros know how to put runs up on the board. Dodgers send out a youngster that only lasted a little over an inning last time out due to an elbow strain, and Duckworth has been in and out of the rotation due to his consistent era of 7.5 or so. Kind of a gut play I guess, but this total just seems very low for two pitchers who are not very established. This game has a 6-5 feel to me.
