Demo Derby Time

Its that time of year again for the Demo derby. This year we will enter 4 cars. The derby is next Sunday.
This ones mine.

This one is my sons. 1st year entering.

This one is my stepsons. 1st year entering.

Cant forget about the wifes car. She gets 2 pics because of all the time she put in decorating it

And last but not least..The OFFICIAL BEER HOLDER. This year he has taken up a few more bad habits including gambling,smoking and snatching beers out of the soda machine.

yeah that dog is awesome iam going to try and teach my dog to that now. Cal wont do that ripken you got to teach her to do that

It is extremely easy to teach a dog to do this. Start out with a piece of popcorn or hotdog. Have them sit and hold their head still underneath their jaw and put the treat on their nose. Slowly take your hand away and tell them to stay. If their head moves a little bit tell them no..stay.. and use your hand to keep them from moving. In the beginning dont have them hold it for to long. Tell them OK and let them have the treat and give them praise. This dog will flip the treat off the end of his nose and catch it in mid air when I tell him OK.

On another note...After we picked up the wifes car from a friends house yesterday we stopped at the store on the way home. When we were walking out I told her that it looks like someone molested sylvester. She asked what are you talking about..so I told her to take a close look at how she drew him (in the 2nd pic).
She drew the complete pic when the fuel door was on not realizing that the door had to be taken off. She got a good laugh and said she was going to leave it the way it is.

Hey fun at the demo derby, me and my buddies used to get involved w/that about 10 years back, it was always a blast.

As far as my dog goes, can't teach he to hold the beers, he is too busy drinking them up...LOL!!

6-5 had a picture of a stuffed wolf a year or so ago. Since it was stuffed, it could hold the beer without a single lesson!

YYz...Dont mind me. I was just having a extremely shitty day yesterday. Seems the kids want to drive the cars but not put in the time to finish them up. Ive got one days work left to do on them and then its just sit back and relax till Sunday.
