Green Bay (ML) over Carolina

GB/CAR under 43.5

Classic struggle of great o-line vs. great d-line. GB has one of the best lines in the national football league. GB is in the same class as Den and KC with regards to active o-lines. In the past Green bays defense has been anything but special. Looking at the match up tonight, GB skill positions have a step on the secondary of Carolina. Brett Farve has a cannon of an arm and the athletic ability of his receivers will make plays down field. Too many weapons for Carolina to cover. Bubba franks has rededicated himself and will be key for this offense to move the chains.

NOW the defensive front seven for Carolina is great. They fly around and make almost every tackle. They are extremely aggressive, so look for the A. Green screen pass to generate points. Play action will be a vital component of green bays offense. They WILL establish some run and Farve will use that to set up a big down field strike on unexperienced secondary players in one v one coverage. The "Chuck rule" will help Driver re-establish him self in the offense.

Defensively for Green Bay, they are not a powerhouse. Bob Slowik's defense has shown that they are going to be very aggressive this year. Carolina will smash the ball at GB with Davis and Foster. The panthers o-line has been shuffled but should still be effective. Harris and Sharper are good enough in the secondary, McKenzie ends his hold and should see some playing time. The CB's for GB aren't great but they can get it done.

Also with the panthers defensive firepower and dominate running games on both sides, the under 43.5 is also a play.

Thanks Toy
won a bit of change on your eagles vs. Giants. I was getting a little tired of the camera focusing on Warner's mug scowling because he stinks. BUT WHAT A HIT McDougle had on Manning. That hit made the NFL ticket worth every penny.....why wouldn't he go to SD!

My mistake in write-up post.....GB resigned Al Harris not McKenzie, but never the less 2-0 on the night
