buckeyes could very well lose outright. penn state seems to give ohio state problems every single year. and smith will be facing a real defense this week. gimmie the nittany lions and the points for sure in that one.

i gotta think the hawaii/boise total will be upwards of 74 or 75 points. and its probably gonna go over. boise cant stop the pass and hawaii cant stop the run. both teams will chunk away yards.

What is the O/U going to be in that PSU-OSU game.....17?

Jesus, I am a Penn State fan, but their offense is worthless. Iowa did everything they could to give that game to Penn State, and Penn State did everything to give it right back.

Michigan State, Syracuse and South Carolina

Beware of the Purdue line this will be a huge emotional letdown after 2 consecutive big games and how they lost them. No Major bowl then going to play at Northwestern in front of a small crowd.

Ohio State line will jump to seven just got to wait the public is going to move that line big time.

"the bunker"
after watching penn st last week, that line should be 7.....

i`ve never seen an offense that was more inept......including the ravens....

how will penn st score any points?

the under has to be a play...

GREED, i agree on.....

Michigan State+12'...wow...in a state rivalry..awful lot of points for a team with a at least average defense to stay in the game.

TCU+5..against a tepid Cincy.. don't think they'll get up again for 4 full quarters and beat'em.

New Mexico+ 2'...looks interesting

Can't back Florida....Georgia looks like a gift at -6

Syracuse...probably get stupid and play them early AGAIN .....great matchup and don't have lay a lot points on a home favorite..What nice edge to have. Don't think they'll lose

Good luck this week MC and cappers

Tennessee and Mizzou jumped out to me on first look. Have much more work to do on these but they both looked like they are worth further research.

Today's top story ... Ross back at OSU
Head coach Jim Tressel has cleared senior starting TB Lydell Ross to practice with the scout team this week and dress for Saturday’s game versus Penn State, but it is unclear, at this point, whether Ross will see any playing time; Ross was suspended for last week’s game due to his attendance and alleged actions at a local strip club

ACC

Florida State
The WR troubles continue for the Noles, as sophomore backup Lorne Sam aggravated an injury to his left foot and was reduced to crutches by day’s end; Sam has played with a stress fracture in his foot this season, and will have the foot examined today; The Noles are already without senior starter Chauncey Stovall (hamstring) for this weekend’s game versus Maryland, whereas senior Craphonso Thorpe (bruised ribs) and senior Willie Reid (hamstring) are also nursing injuries

Maryland
The Terps will be without its leading WR on Saturday versus Florida State, as junior starter Derrick Fenner is out with a sprained ankle, which he suffered in last week’s game at Clemson; Sophomore Drew Weatherly will assume Fenner’s starting role …

Big XII

Oklahoma
Redshirt freshman starting DT Carl Pendleton missed last week’s game due to a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, but he returned to practice earlier this week and is expected to be able to play in Saturday’s tilt at Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State
Senior standout CB Darrent Williams’ injury status has improved, but he’s still highly questionable for Saturday’s contest versus Oklahoma. Williams has been sidelined for the past three weeks with a broken forearm and has not yet received medical clearance to return to action

Big Ten

Michigan
Sophomore backup QB Matt Gutierrez has surgery, on Monday, to repair his ailing right shoulder, and will subsequently miss the remainder of the season and possibly miss the spring workouts; Gutierrez, who came out of fall camp as the starter, has torn cartilage in his shoulder and has been limited in his QB duties, but has been the team’s holder on field goals and extra points; Senior punter Adam Finley will take over the Gutierrez’s holding duties …

Penn State
Senior starting QB Zach Mills is doubtful for Saturday’s game at Ohio State, due to a concussion suffered in last weekend’s loss to Iowa; Junior backup QB Michael Robinson is expected to start against the Buckeyes

MAC

UCF
Head coach George O’Leary announced that senior starting MLB Stanford Rhule will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn biceps; Senior Gerren Bray and junior James Cook are expected to fill the void … Senior TB Alex Haynes, who missed the last two weeks due to injury, has returned to practice and is expected to play in Saturday’s game at Marshall

Pac-10

Washington
The team’s starting QB has yet to be named for Saturday’s game at Oregon, but redshirt freshman Carl Bonnell will not be in contention for the job this week after re-aggravating a groin injury during Monday’s practice; Bonnell had started the two games prior to last week’s contest at USC, but this week’s competition will be between sophomore Isaiah Stanback, who started the USC game, and junior Casey Paus

SEC

Florida
Althletics Director Jeremy Foley denied reports, which indicated that Steve Spurrier had 24 hours to tell UF if he was interested in the job; Foley stated that no such ultimatum was issued and added that, if Spurrier was interested, the two parties would talk; Foley also indicated that the school fully plans to contact other candidates as well
