takin a small shot on south florida (+19)
two main reasons for this one:
1) scheduling allows for usf to quickly atone for their embarrassing debacle in their loss to louisville two weeks ago on national tv. of course, thats the game thats in everyones short term memory and makes south florida look like a 1-AA team. theyre not winning any c-usa titles, but that game was an anomaly in my opinion. just a complete destruction by the cards.
2) birmingham is not louisville. the blazers defense is a sieve and they allow way too many points and yards to trust in a big chalk role. and a capper whom i have great respect for one told me how profitable it can be to play against teams who are coming off a high-scoring tough loss (i.e a 38-35 or 45-42 loss). well uab certainly qualifies, allowing an obscene amount of pts and yds to a lame tulane group.
i just dont see south florida getting routed by 20+ on national tv twice in the span of 12 days. they should show enough sack to keep it w/in 17. small play regardless.
