Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens -5.5

Ravens opened their season with a 17-point loss at the Dog Pound in which they were favored by 3. The total fell well under the posted total of 37 with the final score being 20-3.

In that affair QB Garcia threw a 46-yard TD pass and ran for another TD and the defense held Jamal Lewis to just 57 yards after he ran for 500 yards in two games against the Browns LW.

QB Kyle Boller went 20 of 38 for 191 yards.

The Brownies had a 3-1 turnover edge with Anthony Henry and Andra Davis picking off passes as Cleveland's "D" limited the Ravens to 254 yards, a large chunk of it coming late in the game. Kenard Lang tied a career-high with 3 sacks and forced a fumble as he blew past Ogden's backup, Ethan Brooks, at will.

So one would think getting 6 with the well-rested Brownies may be too good to be true. Exactly.

This game has ALL the ingredients of a Nsane Play of the Day :yup

Quicks note regarding the KC/TB game...

Bears repeating.....
The dog is 5-0 ATS in Chief non-division RGs games & 1-7 ATS as a RF vs the NFC.

Bucs are 10-2-1 ATS as HDs & an impressive 14-1 ATS as Nov dogs.

While the TBs "D" faces a huge challenge in the red hot KC "O", the Bucs have a few things in their favor. HC Jon Gruden is 5-1 after a bye, with his only loss being the miraculous 4th quarter comeback by the Colts on MNF last year. The defense is healthy, with no serious injuries to starters. The team has won 2 of their last 3 after a brutal start.

Yes I played KC -2.5 but tread lightly when laying down your hard earned doubloons.

New Orlean Saints @ San Diego Chargers-6

I hear that train a com'in
Its com'in round the bend.
I'm gonna keep riding this money train
Until it comes to an end.

How can you NOT keep riding this money train ? True all good things must come to an end but I'll wait until this Conductor Marty runs out of steam. Not this week against the not-so-heavenly Saints.

SD is tied with Denver atop the AFC West (with my beloved Chiefs hot on their azz) with their 4-1 SU run (loss @ ATL 21-20) covering ALL 5!!!
In those 5 affairs QB Brees has thrown a spectacular 100 out of 135.

SD is averaging 35.5 ppg at home & has covered their last 2 non-division HGs by 23.5 & 16 pts.

Chargers are 18-7 ATS off a SU win of at least 15 pts.

Saints counter with an impressive 15-5-1 ATS as visitors in New Orleans games including 6-1 this season.

Still can't imagine the leagues worst "D" containing Brees & Co.

Toot toot..........

lol!! Can see the pirate, but actually thought it was a guy with an umbrella to start with! :D

Like the under in Baltimore.

Brownie run D much improved, it's their pass D that is the problem. Ogden, Flynn, Heap still all ?? (I might be wrong)
Of course Cleveland will have problems scoring themselves.

Good luck in TB!!...Brave man!

Like 'em all Senor! I hate to go against the Pats, but their secondary is in dire straits, and it looks like a long day in STL.

Pittsburgh trying to go where no team has gone, beating a 6-0 tam and then a 7-0 team, but in fairness, the last team with the opportunity was Detroit, in 1934!
