USC +300 to win the championship. . . if you have the means, why not jump on it now? Even if Matt doesn't come back. . . but if he does, there's little doubt this line will be much lower in the months to come

LOL, that would be fun!

I rarely play futures and I won't be on this one so I posted this mainly for Scott. . . you know he'll have yet another huge bet on this one but if Matt does return, there's definite value and a good chance that he'll be laughing at us again this time next year!

Doesnt that tell you plenty about the conference when you arent even all that concerned, or getting favorable odds, of an unbeaten season a year in advance and the team will have a new QB?

I would add, as bad as they are, I can see a Notre Dame team at home in the green jerseys with a new impresive staff and attitude causing some commotion?

I agree with Nickleback..that looks like a great bet...BUT if THE TROJANS should some how lose 1 game, which is likely, The BCS will be trying to ram this Oklahoma douchebag team down our throats again for the 3rd year in a row.

I can't take this Oklahoma weenie 12 crap.. Anti USC - PAC 10 sentiment is already starting..LOL

L.S.U.---wowwwwwwwwwwwwww is + 1600..i like that..

i was thinking the same thing Gin was.. Arizona will be improved...

2005 --betting plan
Bet " against " USC every game..... BUT BET U.S.C. in The 2nd half of every game...

MONEY NEVER SLEEPS PAL !!!!!!!!!!

A couple things...
OU loses 15 starters. They will be good but they wont be in the Rose Bowl. If Mack Brown ever beats them it will be next year. Texas has a favorable conference schedule so if they win in Columbus they will be there.

LSU has a favorable schedule (as favorable as it can be in the SEC) but bottom line LSU still doesnt have a QB and Les Miles is not a very good game day coach - he is Mack Brown lite. They will lose at least one game on him alone.

i wouldn't advise betting against sc blindly every week

not a good strategy

now you may get some good value especially early if leinert leaves but they are loaded.....everywhere

SUN TZU---GREAT POINT___

You are absolutely rite..TEXAS looks great and they showed a lot of heart in The Rose Bowl....TEXAS is + 1000...that's nice odds for a solid team and definate contender.
TEXAS can do it..

Worth a play at + 1000

Considering schedules, losses in players, etc, and not considering the odds, the teams with the best chance to win it all are (in no order):

Michigan
Ohio State
Texas
USC

I like Texas, but do you guys trust Young over a full season? Hell of a runner, and an overall athlete, but his arm does leave a lot to be desired and if they play a team that has the athletes to keep him in the pocket I don't know if he can exploit it. Could see them losing a game just because of this weakness. But they are priced at +1000 and to get a line like that of course there is risk involved.

He did show that he's a big game player on Saturday though, have to respect that.

i would never put my money on texas but they may have a chance....too bad they have to play ou

sc will be loaded again...leinert is the key to undefeated vs 1 loss somewhere

mich...definite chance
osu....not so sure
big ten, like pac 10 usually finds 1 loss somewhere on the road in conf play
tenn/lsu are possibilities in sec
fla may have outside shot with meyer
va tech might have a chance as well from acc

kind of strange not to mention fsu and miami in this discussion

long shot in pac-10......ucla...schedule could bounce them into top 5-10 early.....if they win

Tennessee has a brutal schedule with tough road games. I do think the Big 11 will not be very good so if Ohio State beats Texas they could be playing Michigan in a huge one. But these teams do often stub a toe. Certainly can understand not betting Texas - just saying if it will be happen it will be this next year. OU actually loses 16 starters and it appears about half the staff. As for USC, maybe something weird will happen but as with this year the schedule gives them a cakewalk - maybe a UCLA or ND steps up and bites them but I wouldnt count on it.

Florida has a good shot next year with Leak at the helms & a much better gameday coach in Meyer.

I belive Florida will struggle their first year under Meyer because they're learning his system. . . I think the odds on Florida right now are severely overrated. Wait for 2006-07

I like what I saw out of the LSU QB who finished... he looked solid enough to think that with more coaching and reps, he will be fine. BIG KID too.... 6'5 and 250. Looked like LEFTWICH or CULPEPPER in the pocket! He could throw downhill it seemed.... looked sharp for those last two drives.

Just a thought...
