NFL Playoffs: 5-2 +$2,400
NCAA Basketball: 12-6 +$2,310
NBA: 2-3 -$250
Overall record: 19-11 63.3% +$4,460

Looks like I am going against the popular opinion here - and I am making Syracuse my play of the day...not often i can say i see line value in a #7 ranked team - but at -5 i do see some value for Syracuse - and have concluded the line is a tad low due to several factors - including the fact that yes Rutgers has played Syracuse close in recent years, beating them outright two years ago...however i do not believe the past firmly indicates what will happen in the future all the time, especially in this game...

One thing i will point out is we have a 19-1 Syracuse team - if you do break down their 19 wins you will notice that 16 wins have been by 5 or more points, 2 wins were by exactly 5, and only 1 win way by less than 5 - which was the 4 pt. win over Providence...Syracuse averages nearly 11 points more a game than Rutgers, and pretty much dominates every statistical category - FT shooting is poor by both squads...

I expect many will be playing Rutgers today - however I will be on Syracuse, which i believe to be the right side...i'll lay the 5 here w/ the superior team that has 19 wins, only 1 loss - and 16 of 19 wins covered the spread, 2 of 19 pushed, only 1 lost vs. a 5 pt. spread...I don't think they overlook this one - they take care of business and win by double digits...feel the line should be more around Syracuse -8 or -9...an upset can always happen at any time - and if Rutgers wins tonight i will be truely surprised - but i'll lay my money on the better team, who i truely expect has the higher percentage chance of winning and covering the point spread...

Play of the day:

Syracuse -5
Risking $550 to win $500

I agree

I agree

The line is a little low because Rutgers has been tough at home the past few years and they have given SU all they can handle. The difference this year is that SU has its strongest team in over a decade and Rutgers has struggled mightily this season. Edelin is also finally beginning to play well. Hopefully, this will be a blowout. I am on it for a dollar. Good luck.

this is one of those games that I rather just not touch...one thing I do know, their is no way Oklahoma keeps up with Oklahoma St athletically tonight...however, that home court edge for the Sooners and the confiidence from beating last years NC squad in UCONN a few weeks back could be the difference, I think OSU +115 has plenty of value for a unit play

Nice writeup and good covering information
i was thinking the same thing, think there is too much in favor of the Orange for this Rutger team to handle.
i'm on SU for 2 dollars

Adding this 1H play:

Syracuse 1H -3
Risking $550 to win $500

The Cuse comes out strong tonight...I feel they cover the game line by halftime - so i've decided to make a 1H wager...trusting my capping of this game on this one - gl to you if you decide to play it...would be nice to get the night off to a great start!

Wow - guess i missed a heck of a game - was out to dinner celebrating my dad's birthday and didn't get to watch any of it - what the hell happened in that first half? Outplayed i guess...and looks like a huge comeback - but not enough...oh well - looks like i missed on this one - can't hit em all - congrats to those on rutgers...i'm really shocked they did not cover the spread - Cuse ML would have been the way to go i guess - easy to say it now...gl
