hey guys, did'nt want Jack to think i was unappreciative of the trip that obvious took allot of time and money for jack and all others who put allot of time and effort into the fun weekend. I was in vegas for a vacuum dealer show so i really took advantage of being able to have a blast and being able also to write the trip as a business expense. I'll start with Friday night as my wife and i showed up at the Aladdin and met jack, IE, Dale , Raymond and a few others , but i'm not great with names, oh also AR from Scottsdale. These people are fine gentlemen and really made my wife Lynn and myself feel very welcome. I really was impressed with dale and fiancee from Indy, as they remind me of family and i was happy my wife would also meet such fine people. Jack was really tired and some people had some fun with him, but really it was from lack of sleep, and not so much the alcohol. Saturday i spent the day betting basketball and went 10-3, so that in its self paid for the entire trip. Sunday mourning dale and a super nice friend of his met me at the star dust to bet some baskets and really for me to show dale a few things about how i handicap the games and what i look for and what i disqualify in several games as games i stay away from. we had a blast, horses (dales picks, because i know absolutely nothing about them,lol) and even a dog race kept us busy. I think we went 5-2 but we lost a very exciting Toronto game by only a couple points and had fun watching them get down by 28 early and almost covering the 5 point spread late. Then it was the super bowl at green valley ranch.
First of all everyone had to be impressed with the location of jacks super bowl party. I commend him on doing such a great job! I walk in and theres everybody partying with the Sopranos cast out side. (could'nt believe how small they all are, even Bobby was allot smaller than there made to be on t.v. We eat some food and watched the pretty girls go around us all day handing out t-shirts hats, robes, drinks and allot of breast shots which i was very respectful along with Raymond of not looking when they were falling out all over.lol, right Ray?
The game went as planned and we picked up another 6290.00 with 5 dimes on the under 48 and 4-5 prop bets that came in. The under put allot of smiles on my friends because i made sure they bet the under back home, so they were all happy to see me. I know Jack, Dale and AR also were on the right side, so we were all pretty happy with the results! The party at the game was'nt really my thing as i like isolation most of the time on bigger bets, and we all know one individual made a total ass out of himself, but i just hope he is alive and we'll and hopefully he will learn from this incident and grow from it. After the game Jack completed a great day and took us back to the hotel in a limo. I left on the red eye, which of course was delayed for 3 hours back to madison, which reminds me i also enjoyed i think his name was jerry from Madison, sorry! any ways The guys i listed above really stood out as class people, ones we would all love to surround a our selfs with. I was a little disappointed i did'nt get to meet fletcher or gman, and a few others, but maybe next year guys. If you did'nt make this one, plan on next years.
