thats for takin the time to drop me that voicemail. if nothing else, it lessened the 'shock' when the starting lineups were announced. i pretty much laid it on the line that other guys would step up. walther certainly did. thats the best game ive seen him play so far. that kid can flat out bomb. but he also handled the ball well, which is something i wasnt sure he could do. had peterson been in there, i dont think the over would have been a sweat at all, and i dont think theres any chance akron blows that 13-pt lead. thats tough to swallow for those who laid the pts.
how freakin stupid is howell for toledo? ingram does a great job of making the 1st FT and then bricking the 2nd on purpose. rockets get a fortuitous bounce and if the kid just turns around, hes got a layup and the game goes into double OT. theres no doubt in my mind that howell had no clue of what the game situation. him kicking that ball out tells me he thought the were down 3. how the hell do you play crunch time minutes and not know time-score?
