but for those of you that care....kickserv is a type of serve in tennis......heavy topspin that kicks "away" from your openent......kind of like a screwball in baseball.....

I hate kick serves. My first-ever varsity match my sophomore year from high school, I wasn't very good and had to play a freshman that was the coach's son named Landon Lueck. He just fried me with kick serves. Wasn't prepared for them at all. Think he beat me 6-0, 6-1.

Interesting sidenote to that match: While I remember him as my first varsity opponent, most other people now know him as that nutjob Landon from The Real World.

Mine comes from nickname, geno, and what you read is what I say (genosays) .... funny one from fatdaddycool, didn't know there was a band called "The Gene Pool", lol .... I use that moniker for all my fantasy football, roto baseball teams and such.

For some reason IndependantOperator was too long. :mj07:

Intense was the choice that came to my head the quickest while I logged in here for the 1st time after Independant was rejected back in the day.

Either way, I/O is I/O. Works for me.

And it's better than Flipper :)

Not very original. Little did I know when I signed up I would be hanging around for a while or I might of put a little more thought in to it. Visit alot of forums and this one by far has the most entertaining, sharp cappers on the net with a good man running it. I do not post plays as I fill some what intimidated by the sharp cappers here. Thanks all for leting me chime in every once in a while and all the great info provided!

I started at Dtackle my sophmore year in college. The real Ed "ludes" was the Senior who started on the other side, the guy who was supposed to mentor me,show me the ropes. In the off season, his love for quaaludes was legendary,he'd lose 7,10 days at time on binges. His big contribution to my football year was convincing me to take speed before our last game, which was for the league championship. It hurt as much as it helped.Though I never got tired,we were calling defenses we'd practiced all year and I had to make a concerted effort to remember what I was supposed to do in them.Anyway.......everybody assumed Ed was doing poorly academically because of the 'Ludes thing it wasn't that he wasn't smart but school is hard to pass when 'luded out as we used to say.Imagine our surprise when he takes the Law Board test and scores a perfect 800 on the freakin' thing. At the time, that meant that pretty much based on a score of a 5 hour test alone that he would get into Harvard Law School, dispite his mediocre grades.Which is where this joker went.......and that was a lot farther than anyone else on our team ever got.
