offensive woes continue as Beltran is slumping and Cameron is
hurting. They have plated just 3 runs per game over the last 10
and they must square off against Philadelphia's best pitcher,
Brett Myers. Myers has allowed only six walks in six home starts,
(5-1, +$350), while striking out 41 . Injuries and poor performance
have forced Willie Randolph to constanty shuffle his lineup and
personell and he has still not found a workable combination.
Things get no better for them as they are now without their
top two second basemen (Matsui and Cairo) and veteran
reliever Mike DeJean was released yesterday.
