The Blue Jays lost a tough one in Arlington last night
and they've got a middle reliever making his first start
of the season on the hill tonight against Texas's best
pitcher. Because despite last
evening's setback, Toronto has been playing exceptionally
well (6.8 runs per game and a 2.67 ERA among starters
last 10 days), and their numbers vs. lefthanders are just
sensational (14-9, +$810 with 5.6 RPG). The Rangers on
the other hand are a sorrowful 4-13 (-$1040) vs. southpaws,
averaging a mere 3.2 RPG in those contests. Throw in a
price of almost 2 to 1 and it's hard not to feel good about our
chances backing the visitor here.
