What a game Jenkins had!!! He is batting over .290 now, after being about .230 in mid-June! Brewers may contend for the wild card if they keep this up!!

just to make a statement on all these comments. you guys have to understand that this bullpen was worn down in the last 3 games combined. they were used sooo much that they had nothing left. hernandex had a bad game, dont kill the guy. he only gave up 1 HR all season until this series. the guy has been pitching 1 or innings in every game. eventually its going to take a toll on you. same thing with looper which is the reason he couldnt pitch in todays game. when the starters arent performing, it calls for the bullpen to bail them out. lets face it, you cant be bailed out of every game. im not sticking up for this bullpen whatso ever here, but you have to take in the fact that these guys are worn down right now, and unless the mets starters can start throwing 7 innings or more without getting pounded, its going to continue to happen.
