Josh Fogg, scheduled to start for the Pirates tonight, is 1-7 with an 8.85 earned run average in nine career starts against the Cardinals.

"He doesn't match up well against them," said manager Lloyd McClendon, who in the past has finessed the rotation so Fogg misses the Cardinals.
"Unfortunately, this time we had no choice."
