Along those lines I wonder where Jackson/Sharpton/ and their org's awere--still camped out with Sheehan and out of country. I've watched tons of coverage from looting to rescues and in all seriousness if I didn't know before hand I'd think they were covering city of Zaire. I have to assume that these poor folks were the only ones with no way out before storm hit--where were their advoctes when needed? you guessed it--on political agendas.

U know i can understand looting if ur stuck in the middle of nowhere and starving to death and just trying to get to food, and this chit is happening.
I don't condone people looting just for profit gains down the road, but people have to do what they to do to survive when fema hasn't gotten to them yet.

Maybe you are not familiar with the antics of Sharpton and Jackson. In South Los Angeles (used to be South Central but they changed it so it wouldn't be a negative term), they only show up when a cop shoots somebody which is always the cops fault. Gang killings go on every day, but you won't find Sharpton or Jackson addressing that issue. Sharpton was out here in LA last week for just that reason. The looting doesn't bother me too much because if I had no food, I would be looking for some anywhere I could get it. What anyone will do with a tv is anybody's guess. Nobody is picking right or left, just making an observation that these camera hogs that supposedly are out for justice, only look at it in a myopic way.

That sounds positive. But really he was closer to the action staying in Texas. Hey it was hard to understand why all the news out lets were making such a big thing out of two days. Heck the two days before that he was off in ARIZ and Calf making speeches about something. I think what may have been better is step up the relief effort. Don't have to come back to D C to do that. It's a day lost.

Kosar Why? whats more important speeches. Hell they should have been jumping through hoops by Monday 9 a.m. And who cares if he cuts a vacation short. People dieing and news outlets worried about his vacation.

The levees didn't break at '9am' on monday. That's what has caused this. As you know, the last thing that i'm inclined to do is defend him, but at 9am on monday, everybody was saying how lucky NO was.
