Does anyone else agree with me that Bama and WVU are great picks in these games. Florida is so overhyped. What have they done this year besides barely beat Tenn at home? Bama is already battle tested in the conference beating SC on the road, Ark at home and also beating a solid Southern Miss team. I know Leak is good, but I'll take Bama to pull a minor upset.

WVU should not be getting so many points. This is a rivalry game that will be close. We will not see a repeat of last week by VaTech on the road this week.

Also...I think FSU covers against Syracuse.

If you think Bama is more battle-tested because they have played SC and Ark, you obviously don't have regional coverage on your direct tv and have not seen SC and Ark. play, because both of these teams, especially Arkansas, are not that good. Florida may be overhyped, but at least they have beaten a ranked opponent who didn't look all that bad in the 2nd half against LSU last night.

The Tide definitely has this game circled, and tickets for this bad boy are going for $200 for endzone seats. They will definitely be up for this one. The line looks fishy to me. I was expecting it to be 6-7. Could mean good things for the Tide.

damn right it does 01, that's because BAMA will role!! Dizzy, I liked your write up about the Bills, but this one tops it! :mj14:

BAMA +4 take the points :)

01, I don't know if you've watched or not but Ark. always plays Bama a tough game and that's because their one of the few teams that can run on us, anyway, not gonna get into it, but one question, do you think S.C. gives Auburn a better game?

For what its worth, I am going to the AL / FL game, and the trend is that every FL game that I go to where FL is favored, they lose SU. Even when they were #1 against Auburn.

Not a trend for an account bet but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Two words: Urban Meyer.

I don't think the line is fishy, looks about right. If florida was home, it would be about 8 to 9pts and that's what I would expect. Alabama is rolling and Florida is still learning. Urban Meyer is a better "big game" coach then Shula and will prove the difference. The home crowd is a plus but UT went into "Death Valley" and beat a very good LSU team. Most likely a non-play for me, just thought I'd chime in.

Auburn should be able to run the ball against SC just like UA did a couple of weeks ago. I really don't see SC being able to do much in this game unless Auburn turns the ball over, or Cox doesn't play,etc...

Also, I watched every play of UA/Ark. game, and I thought Arkansas looked terrible, and Alabama looked like they were sleepwalking through most of the game. Arkansas's talent is no where near Alabama's. Should have been a cakewalk for Shula. It looked to me like UA was looking ahead to this game with Florida.

This should be a great game to watch!
