Thanks for all the kind words lately it has been a great first half of the year. This weeks slate of games does not excite me but I did find a side and total to play, albeit in the same game.

When i go into a season I make point spreads for each game prior to the season starting. Before the season I made Carolina 3.5 points favorite on the road over Tampa. Since then what has changed? Tampa has played better than expected and comes in at 5-2. Carolina is just starting to roll a little, but my point is nothing has changed to make me think Carolina is not at least a fieldgoal better than my bucs. Except for one thing. Tampa is playing with a green backup at Qb. I see tremendous value here laying the 1. (olympic)

I expect Carolina to win this game by 4 minimum.

I think Carolina can get me 24 in the above game if all things stay normal. I think Tampa will be fired up at home and get me 17 at least. With Simms at Qb you could see a Pick 6. With Tampas secondary that is always possible going the other way too.
I think this game goes over the 36 for fun

take a look at the lions laying 1- on the road at minnesota...is this a joke or am i misreading this line. johnson for culpepper could be an upgrade at this point in the year, they still have decent receivers, mmoore has played fairly decent...that defense, well that's another story but can the lions take advantage...i am a lions homer and a fan, and just can't believe we are the favorites in this one? curious of your opinions in this one. the way we can't move the ball, and the injuries we have coming in, minnesota seems too good to be true! reminiscent of that gb game two weeks ago, without starting out 17-0

Good luck Clem...this is a scary game..time and time again in the NFL teams that look horrible in one week become world beaters the next...TB looked PATHETIC last week against a very lame SF team...now the line is set where essentially "all" the panthers have to do is cover to win...this one wreaks of an upset...

Being a Bucs fan, its depressing knowing that we have NO offense.
Teams can just stack the line and stop our run because they can gamble on Simms over/under throwing the ball. He doesnt have what it takes to hang with Carolina. I think our secondary is overrated against the deep pass, and thats where Steve Smith will tear us apart.
Carolina sounds like the best pick imo.
Also, Carolina in the past years seem to dominate us one way or another. This seems like a great Home game letdown for the Bucs. Last week was no fluke.

clem, i love carolina here. simms is flat-out terrible. i couldn't believe i got 11 points from him on the road last week.
