Miss Iceland Wins Miss World 2005 Contest

SANYA, China ? Miss Iceland, Unnur Birna Vilhjalmsdottir, a part-time police officer who wants to be a lawyer, was crowned Miss World 2005 on Friday.

Miss Mexico, Dafne Molina Lona, was the first runner-up, and Miss Puerto Rico, Ingrid Marie Rivera Santos, was second runner-up in the contest in Sanya, a southern China beach resort.

I am too lazy to look through and see who won and will get the shaft from beantownjim, but I did see that freelanc picked Ireland as the winner.

unofficially, i would say freelancc is the winner with 15 points... he had the winner and 2nd runner up in his picks.

there were 5 or 6 more with 10 points.
