On the course!
Why do it? How can you? They have nobody on that team who can play, and the Bears are a playoff team set on destroying a team that they hate.

I agree. I fully agree. Thing is.....The Bears have Grossman in the box now instead of Orton. A lot of folks seem to think that means a whole lot. I ask you this: Does it really? Rex Grossman? He's kinda like you being happy that you stepped in the small pile of shit, and not the big one......Does it really matter?

Or maybe when it's 10 below for a week, and now you get a 15 degree day, and it feels "nice"? It's not really, but it sure beats what you're used to!

Well, if Green Bay has any stinking pride at all, they will make some sort of effort this week. I believe that they must run a very simple plan today, and it will certainly be a difficult road. They just need some help from their defense, and I think the week off they just had should help tremendously.

I don't think Rex will have a very easy time of it today, and we should see quite a few "3 and outs" from both squads. I actually (fool that I may be) think Favre will get his head in the game today. I don't think he will take as many of his "gun slinger" chances, as we are used to. (Chicago should never be far enough ahead to make this neccessary.)

Thus, I can't tell you how much 7 points seems like a nice look. This game, to me, has all the makings of the last meeting with these teams.

Also, why should this game see 31' points? Anyone???? Anyone????

Even IF Green Bay looks like crap. Even IF Da Bears put their best foot forward, aren't we looking at a 20-6 game here?

The books are so afraid to post a total under 30 points, and you know this one should be at about 28! (and I would still take the under!)

So, for all my callers, I recommend taking the following:

Green Bay +7
Chi/GB under 31'

......and if you got some extra cash in yer stocking, take the parlay!

I think the under is a solid bet. As far as the 7 point line. Books are going to have a field day with all the Packers bets. Favre is a great qb, but lets admit one thing. This is not his year. I dont see his offense scoring more than 10 points. Bears defense will set up at least two scores. Im saying final 17-7 Pack.

Good luck to all!

I also agree with the Under pick. But PRIDE has nothing to do with how GB will play. They don't have the TALENT to beat the Bears. Bears will win by 13.

I took the over as well Clem, Bears are looking to show their offense with Grossman now

I compare it to High School Football Teams that don't actully open their play book until In Confrence Games that way the teams don't have tape on alot of their plays

WIth Grossman having the arm and the ability they bears open up the offense and score well over what they have been to prove a point to everyone

Not to mention Vasher or Mike Brown take one to the house and Noah Parts his arms and fumbles at least once

Do Do Do Do the Shuffle

You are out of your frieken mind playing the packers! The more money I lose playing NFL games there seems to be 1 undeniable fact that most people overlook (including myself). We as bettors bet too much on a teams history/ reputation. If you close your eyes and I say Favre what comes to mind........ 4th quarter comebacks, gritty gutty play, and a guy you just can't help but love. The difference is he has NO HELP!! No running game, no defense, No special teams, and no wide recievers. Green Bay has nothing to play for and does not have the athletes to match up in this game. I am from GB love the packers and it hurts like hell to write this but we are simpaly too banged up to beat anyone right now. I know the history and the hatred of the bears but you must bet on this team on the field right now! In the movie the Patroit starring Mel Gibson he says " I have long feared that my sins would come back to haunt me." He was talking about the Green Bay Packers drafting the past decade. Ammad Carrol a 1st rounder please! Don't even make me mention Tony Mandarich, 1st overall. Green Bay has drafted as poorly as anyone consistently. Sorry GB, I am palying the bears and the over! CHI - 7.5 over 31.5 hurts like hell but without Gaddo GB can't run or throw!
