Panthers +3800 anyone???

any opinions on the panthers as a longshot for the superbowl?

if this team plays up to its potential they have a solid defence, good running game, above average qb and receivers...

thoughts?

To me Delhomme is a serviceable qb, but when faced with teams that have exceptional defense, ie Tampa, Chicago, he looks like he should be a backup. When he gets pressured he gets flustered and makes bad decisions, which is not good when you are the leader of any team. Other than that their d and running game is looking quite impressive going into the post season. Their only chance is to buy into the running game and control the clock, and hopefully their d will create turnovers.

Just my 2 cents.

Panthers are just not that good a team vs the big boys.

To beat the Panthers all you have to do is pressure Delhomme.
He dont like it, gets happy feet, and thats it.

If Panthers get by the first round, they will get smashed in the second game.

Like the way you think. Dropped 50 on them myself as well as the Skins at 35-1 and Jags at 100-1. Strange things happen in the playoffs and I love to play the longshot odds. Purely from an odds standpoint as well, if you just played them on the ML each game and pushed all your winnings each round, your still getiing better odds on these 3 teams laying the longshot odds up front. I also see the Colts getting knocked out by either Jax or NE (Jax has good history vs Colts, and we all know how well BB and Brady have handled them over the years.) i dont care what the odds are....neither team is winning the super bowl.....that's 4 staright wins (all on the road) by either team?? no thanks......

there are reasons why #5 and #6 seeds dont even make it to the super bowl....they're not that good, and they must win on the road.
