While this is certainly a novel and witty idea (I think Sun is witty. Dark, but witty) I have believe that Scooter probably has many uses for this memorabilia and frankly, Ihave no use for used sweaty athletic undergarments from the losing team. you're not completely wrong (gable's position switch is screwy) ... but the fact that usc didn't sign any of the other 3 guys should be enough for you to call it a loss.

if they were heavily recruiting 6 kids at the position, and they only end up with 2 true running backs, i think you might have to chalk it up as an L. if they could have gotten ANY of those other 3 to make up for gable, then you'd have been in good shape. but apparently that's not happening.

obviously a lot of guys are just waiting for one misstep on your end so they can blast you to no end.

if the bet was stricly between the first three guys you were talking about, i think you would have a lot more of an argument.

but unless those other guys sign at usc (the other 3 you're talking about) you're on the wrong side of this one

I have yet to get an admission from any of my several USC fan friends that the Trojans lost that game. ...They are beginning to remind me of Nebraska fans from the 90's.

And by the way, where the hell were all these Trojan fans before this dynasty? I didn't even know most of my Trojan fan friends were fans until the last couple years happened.

I hope the bandwagon mellows out a little. But the fact that they won't acknowledge defeat and send hats is a bad sign.

When I made my first post on this thread, I figured it was just a misunderstanding. I guess I was wrong; this just downright pathetic.

Gman- you can't be serious about him having any sort of a leg to stand on. Pissed? Yeah, I would be too. But the parameters were SO clearly stated.

I knew Scott could be annoying but always chalked it up to being a little overly enthusiastic. I also never minded because he had good info in his capping threads. I had no idea he was a cheap, lying, two-faced, dishonest piece of shit that would screw a guy out of a hat in a bet he so obviously, without question, lost.

Jack hit the nail on the head. It has nothing to do with the hat, but that Scott is one of those people that refuses to believe he can ever be wrong.

The most amazing part is that we have the bet in black and white on this site as evidence. I think it's hilarious that people forget what exactly they post and can be called out on it at any time.
