i saw the trailer last night after watching their documentary on 9/11.....and the documentary was horrific..

it`s amazing how your memory kind of phases the bad things out....when you see it again,it`s devastating....

i`m surprised that a & e is doing this movie...a &e?....

about the passengers on the flight that was heading for d.c....taking matters into their own hands and saving the capitol from a major catastrophe...

isn`t this a natural for hollywood?...for a major motion picture?...a sure winner?

they can make airport....the poseiden adventure.....towering inferno....

volcano,the god`s sake...

why not make the movie about these heroes...american heroes fighting back against terrorism?

it`s a natural...why not hollywood?...speilberg?

i think i know why...

anyway...the trailer looked very good...a little scmaltzy,maybe...but,that`s par for the course...

9:00 i believe...

it looked pretty powerful...

Thanks for heads up--to this day I still don't see a handful of people armed with box knives taking over plane--and maybe I was caught up in the moment but could swear when they 1st reported it they had tail section a long way from rest of reckage which led me to believe intially we might have shot it down--but NEVER saw same footage again?

whoa,,,that was intense.....my old lady had to leave the room...

thank you a & e for finally depicting the terrorists as they are.....i`m shocked they weren`t depicted as white supremists....maybe because alexander gudonov is dead...

never thought i`d get that upset watching a movie..... and feel like, lord, that`s the world we live in......

everybody should watch it...it was really well done....right to the point...

now,i expect to wake up and read that "Cair" is protesting the depiction of muslims in the movie....

yeah...i guess they had to use a little poetic license......

when the guy was saying the lord`s prayer with the stranger on the phone....could have done without that....

but, given the circumstances,i guess i`d be praying to everything and everybody...

all in all...a harrowing movie...and except for one or two moments that were over the top,it was more of a docudrama....

i think...really...all americans should watch it...

it was pretty hardcore...very straightforward...really well done...leaves you a little shaken....wasn`t softened at all,imo..

as i said,my better half cried and left the room half way through....very intense...she`s not usually a wuss...lol

4 planes hijacked on the same day...and used as guided missles on american landmarks?...

i`d think that things went down pretty much like they were depicted...

i know i`d be calling my family frantically if i knew i were going to die....

it was really well done,imo....surpassed mt expectations...

really brought back the horror of that day....

after seeing this...and getting my memory jogged a bit......i feel like bombing the n.y, times...

phew......every person should be forced to watch this......then comment on what our leaders are trying to do in the middle east

pretty powerful and hard hitting.......

one thing that's always left me amazed is the lack of coverage/highlights/footage/ etc.....from that day.....it seems as if that day has just kind of become an after-thought and most dont reflect about the gravity and horror of that day

i'd be interested in hearing what the families thought of that movie if they could even stand to relive that day.......

one other thing.....i've never had cell coverage after taking off.....kind of interesting that all these calls could be made from 12-35k feet

bro....the cloture vote on alito....and teddy`s hissy fit got you pissing red?.....

i haven`t even mentioned the aclu...

cindy sheehan taking diane feinstein`s calif. senate seat?....that`s a bummer..

now,there`s a debate i`d tivo....

yes..it was a very good movie....one of the best i`ve seen in awhile....

and i totally agree with gjn...any coverage...or even mention of 9/11...seems to have fallen off the face of the earth....as far as the media`s concerned...

that`s very sad...

if it went down like this...as it appears to have happened....these people`s names should be known....

they saved quite a few lives...

smurph...chill...i`m just giggin` ya`....

Yup, totally inconsistent with a normal crash. Don't know what happened to that angle. Wonder if anything new will ever come out on the attacks in the future, or will sleeping dogs be left to lie?

i'm more worried more about you, bro. it's reached the point where i don't think saul will respect you unless you follow through with an attack on al jezee....uh, i mean new york times. you are complaining like some kind of bleeding heart. just do it man. if they are so much the enemy, then it's your DUTY to waste 'em. do it in honor of the united 93 passengers. you owe it to them. either that or just don't bring nyt up every other sentence. you whine like a liberal.

about 9-11 coverage in general in the media, how much are we supposed to drown ourselves in it? for a year, it was the top story every day everywhere. it certainly hasn't fallen off the radar since then. i don't think anyone has forgotten, if that's what your worried about. if they kept on about it all the time, they'd probably be accused of trying to continue to capitalize on tragedy. .....life does go on.

as for alito - i like him. as for teddy - i've always hated that maggot. please don't entangle me in all that congressional-judicial garbage. for the most part, i despise most of those creeps.

i finally saw 'million dollar baby' RIGHT AFTER flight 93. ....haven't felt so sh1tty since i discovered there was no santa claus. ....yep, haven't been this sad in 3 whole years.

Not to mention when Rumsfeld slipped up and said Flight 93 was "shot down". Definitely some strange circumstances. A lot of weird statements and footage around the Pentagon crash too. I guess it's all sort of moot either way. But the more you look into both of those, the more there seems to be discrepencies.

Was pretty intense--mostly reliving idea of timimg on all of this and scariest part is could have been more planes that day had they had the manpower.Could imagine what was going thru mind of defence after 3rd plane hit and 4th was known.
Agree on cell phone reception--and could have did without the personal touches of conversations to family.
Left more questions than answers--was there any evidence they had bombs on board--if so how did they get thru sceening--also why didn't the terrorist blow it when attacted?

Did re-live intense hatred for these SOB's

--on the praying part--have found in instances where death looks iminent it is often the non believers that pray the loudest--not that I deem they suddenly get religion--but theres something about being confronted with the end that changes peoples outlook on many things.

--Wonder if Rove is considering having A&E run 3 part serious of this again just prior to elections and bring back ad of wolves circling to to run between each episode.--anyone remember that ad--was my fav.

Just think when you feel there just cant be humans that will die that way for there reasons. Thats part of the hate we need to deal with. It not the first time. Remember the Japes in WW II. It was estimated they had over 2000 suicide pilots willing to do it. And many tried. Now look at Japan. So there is light at end of tunnel.
