It was pretty one sided, no doubt. That Hasselbeck below the waist thing was the worst/weirdest call I have ever seen. I am just glad I was finally on the right side of one of these debacles.

If you were on Pittsburgh good for you. I was on Seattle, but only a small play. I've bet 5 times this much on various games throughout the year. Just feel like this one was stolen.

I didnt have a single dollar bet on this game and my opinion is there should be an investigation. Absolutely a joke, however I watched the game with 100 other people, mostly casual fans and they all thought I was crazy so there you go.

Even on the play where Stevens caught the pass and then fumbled. They made a # of bad calls, unfortunately that's all I'll remember from this game.

My fav was the Roeth TD where the line judge runs 10+ yards up the sideline motioning with ONE hand up to mark the ball, then MIRACULOUSLY decides to throw up the other hand signalling TOUCHDOWN. Replay was inconclusive meaning whatever he called on the field would stand.

IMO - he never got in.

Thats just one instance. There were about 4 in the first half alone.
Name one break that went Seattle's way. I can't.

Two words. Hose job.

If you DONT think the refs dictated that Pitt win that game, you are not very smart IMO. Should have been 20-0 Seattle early.

:scared for anyone who does not think the game was one sided officiating is a complete f'n idiot. i do not care who you bet on. seattle loses the game thanks to stevens (hands of stone) and pitiful calls. pitt committed almost no penalties.....amazing.

anyway, i told the wife (in the 1st q) i thought the seahags were wearing silver/blac :fingerc: k uniforms.....

Let's see........1st TD Seahawks made called back on awful offensive interference

1st Pitt TD ,Qb does NOT get in,official says he does, but wait , it goes to the booth. Upheld LOL.

2 big penalties on special teams on Seahawks taking them out of Pitt territory and back inside own 20.

Seahawks pick up a huge first down inside 10 yard line on 3rd down pass play. HOLDING LOL,Pitt next possesion, Hail Mary, then TD

Seattle 1st and goal at the one down 4 with 6 min left, getting ready to take the lead, PHANTOM HOLDING call. 2 plays later, interception, then another bullshit call on Hasselbeck for hitting below the waist?

On just those plays alone thats 21 points taken off board for Seattle and they gave Pitt a TD on the replay TD. Thats 28 points. You can't beat a good team when you give tham that kind of advantage. Seattle move the ball on most every possesion, and had only 1 turnover. The interception that never should have happened because it should have been 1st and goal on the one.

Not going to bitch because there's nothing I can do about it but Hasselback getting the call for a block below the waist MAKING a tackle was hilarious! I mean seriously Pitt backers, have you ever seen anything like that in your life?

It's bad when you're on the wrong side but it's great when you're on the right side. I wasn't tonight.

So be it.

actually, to be as unbias as possible, the refs coulda cost hawks min. 11 pts. BUT ... almost as big was Ben's pick for hawks and thats a break (tho self made) and game about ended like it shouldve ... Hawks missed 2 long fgs, and got some questionable and back breaking calls ... finally, the team that deserved to win controls that 4q and seattle didnt do that, tho then again, im not sure about those off sides on pass rush, but the hold on stevens to 2 yl was 50/50 type and thats how and why teams need to sometimes win the game convincingly b/c zebras obviously can intrude and change complexions of close games in all sports ...

You missed the point. If I lose I can take it, but I like to know I lost honestly and not by a fix. That is not what happened here. This goes beyond bad officiating. What happened in this game was an obvious payoff of the referees.

you play this game long enough you have to understand this point. Doesnt matter what game it is, you will be on both sides of this factor and you cannot control it. Thats why you cant move 'all in' under any circumstances. Even a 10% 'all in' is extreme. Its a long, long marathon.
