Determined to have a big day!

Penn State +13 (-120) for 4* - Nittany Lions have really improved as the season progresses which typically happens with young teams. Penn State has won 4 of their last 6 (5-1 ATS) and I think they give the heavily favored Buckeyes a scare today. Geary Claxton and Parker keep PSU within shouting distance. Buckeyes win by 6 to 7 points.

Miami +14 (-120) for 4* - Duke isn't playing well and I don't see why they will have a breakout game today. The Blue Devils will need a huge game from their key players to cover this spread IMO. Hurricanes only blowout loss of late was @ Duke and I expect a maximum effort to keep this game close. I also believe an ailing Dockery will have his hands full with Diaz, Harris, and Hite. Guards typically are the difference in late season games and Miami has 3 solid guards. Duke wins by 7 to 9 points.

Texas Tech +15 for 4* - Red Raiders have been beaten worse than a redheaded step child by the Longhorns the past 2 meetings. So the logical choice is Texas in another rout which could happen. However, Texas Tech looked very good yesterday and this is too many points too pass up against a very inconsistent Texas club. Enough points also to keep the backdoor open if the Horns open up a big lead. I think Jarius Jackson can have a good game and I'm hoping Texas will once again play to the level of their competition as they have in losses @ OK State & A&M in recent weeks.

Going to add more plays as the day progresses. Comments are always welcome good or bad...

F*ck off Fade, just make sure you have the money you owe me, you shtoopid biotch!

Added play:
South Carolina +5 for 2*. Gamecocks should come ready to play and have a better frontcourt than Tennessee IMO. Hoping the Vols aren't hitting their 3's and then I really like my chances.

Nice 2-0 start with South Carolina and Texas Tech looking decent.

Indiana (+105) for 5*. Hoosiers have been playing much better to end the season and I expect a fired up club trying to send Mike Davis out on a high note. Wisky has Tucker, Taylor, & Butch but the dropoff is huge after these three. Wisky hasn't played good on the road and playing in Indiana will be like a road game.

Thanks Brucelee. Nice 3-0 start with South Carolina still pending.

Adding the following plays:

Wake Forrest +5 for 4*. Not real big on this game, but I like the fact Gray and Williams are playing with some urgency as seniors. Demon Deacons should feed off the momentum from yesterday's rally against Florida State plus they should have confidence against the Wolfpack after beating them by 13 on Senior Day last weekend. NC State is also being hurt a little bit by the injury bug.

Texas A&M -1.5 for 5*. Aggies come into this game rolling having won 7 straight plus they should have a number of fans in Dallas. Colorado also played yesterday and could have some tired legs. The bottom line is Gillespie is a far better coach than Patton and should have a solid game plan to beat the Buffs.

Houston +12 for 2*. Not much reasoning except Memphis hasn't been playing very good while Cougars should be stoked to get another shot at Memphis after only losing by a few points in last trip to Memphis just recently.

Alabama +4 (-120) for 2*. Line has sucker city written all over it, but I like the way the Tide's frontcourt has been playing. Kentucky could be a little drained from playing yesterday as well.

Final play for the afternoon:

Holy Cross +7.5 for 3*. Tough to beat a club 3 straight, but I don't feel good about this play and probably wouldn't advise it unless you are looking for some action. Line seems a little small as oddsmakers seem to be inviting Bucknell money.

7-1 Now with Holy Cross (looks terrible) and Houston still pending.

St. Joe's (+115) for 2*. Game is a complete tossup and public is pounding Temple so I'll go the other way. Back with more in 10 mintues.

Adding Minnesota +6 (-120) for 4* - Gophers have played Iowa tough this year losing in double OT @ Iowa and shallacking the Hawkeyes @ home. Iowa just isn't the same team when they leave home and I expect them to once against struggle away from Iowa City.

Kansas -8 for 6* - I'm a bit biased on this pick being a Kansas fan as my initial lean is toward Oklahoma State. However, I have a feeling Kansas comes to play and wins by double digits. First large favorite I have played today.

Back with more games in a little bit. I still have to look over some numbers.
