Manhattan/Maryland-Box & One

hawkeye, box and one is currently at the glens falls civic center, enjoying the best high school hoops new york state has to offer. i know, 'cause i was gonna meet him up there an hour ago. sadly, i was up a little later on st. patty's day than i intended to be, and couldn't drag my ass out of bed to get up there for 9 AM.
I am sure we have all read the report from one of the sports sites (CBS, ESPN?) that Maryland didn't even want to accept this NIT bid but they were contractually bound to be in the tournament for some reason. So, with that said, will they come out to play today or will they be happy to go home after today? I am thinking they win but not by the 11 the line suggests. Just my opinion....
Up 43-35 with 1:35 left in the 1st half...looking good. Ended up taking them for a small $75 bet. You take anything?
Manhattan +9 2nd half? I am not watching this except for the score but does anyone know if Maryland looks lathargic at all? Or are they just really cold from the floor?
Maryland's really cold. Manhattan's shooting lights out, something like 50% 3-pt fgs. Manhattan playing with alot more energy although Maryland is destroying them on the offensive glass.
Manhattan was raining threes and Maryland simply looks like they do not want to be out there. Already have Manhattan +11.5 small for the game but I think I'm going to load up on +9 for the 2nd half. I really think they win this game by 8-10 points.
Yeah they were competitive with Iona in the conference and Iona hung around with LSU in the 1st round before eventually losing big. I can see them easily hanging on for the victory today which is what this line is asking what's going to happen. If Maryland -9 hits, they basically win the game, if +9 hits, Manhattan wins. If it pushes, Manhattan wins.
