Segments are basically the year broken into 4 parts but that doesnt affect us at all, ours is a 1 year total. The vote was leaning to 5 places but was never "finalized" :shrug:

My vote was /is for 5 places. However, everyone needs to agree since thats a change from the original pact.....

Now that I see how this thing works, we should have arranged the payout a little differently, I think. Maybe something like this:

Overall winner: 30%
Runner-up: 20%
Third: 10%
Winners of each segment: 10%

This would keep everyone interested regardless of the overall standings.

The Masters doesn't make the amount of the purse availabe until Sunday. They are unique in that way and they also forbid the announcers to talk about the amount of money that can be won. They prefer to describe the winner as the one who wins the "Green Jacket" unstead of the $,$$$,$$$.

Yahoo won't be able to upgrade the stats until the purse is announced.

It kinda' sucks for us in the league, but :shrug:

Another thing that is unique, is the TV time. The Masters only allows CBS to show 2 min. of commercials per hour....lmao. Hootie says if you don't like it....don't televise it. Finally someone has the nads to stand up to the almighty TV dollar.
