Let me try a new thread on this.

kosar and I are going to vegas June 28- July 2. If anybody can make it that weekend let me know and we'll get together for a dinner sponsored by BetJamaica. Dinner will be saturday night at The Venetian (time and restaurant to be named later).

Also, we are having lunch at Commander's Palace at the Alladdin Hotel & Casino which is an excellent restaurant from New Orleans on Friday at 1pm sponsored by madjacksports.com

Jack, what is the deadline for confirmation? as far as i know right now, my schedule will only be known 3 weeks in advance (being at the bottom of seniority, the schedule i was able to bid is called *vacation relief* LOL .... meaning week by week, i pick up the schedule for those on vacation. (shouldn't bitch tho, since it's full timers on vacation, i'm getting much more than the part time hours i thought i'd get for weeks other than travel/training weeks!!!!!

gonna do my best to make it out there for either 2 or 3 days covering the time period, but won't know until last minute which days those will be, cuz i can't even trade scheduled days with other part timers until i know what my days and hours will be.

There's no 'deadline.' In the next few weeks we'll get a general idea on how many people will be at the lunch and take care of reservations, if needed.

If you don't know by then, then so be it. We'll be able to squeeze you in.

Congrats on the new job and hopefully you can make it.

My post in the previous Vegas thread was only an attempt to bust chops. I was only having a late night joke about it and that was it. Just wanted to quickly apologize if it affended anyone and from the looks of the old thread it caused quite a stir. I did not think it would cause such an uproar as I figured most would have a sense of humor. I guess more posters take things personal and take things to heart and get mad, sensitive and bent out of shape these days. Blown way out of porportion. Anyway, like I said, was busting balls only. If people get that emotional over a harmless joke then I don't know what to make of that and will draw my own conclusions. But, I figured I would make a statement and apologize anyway.
