1) A photocopy of the estimate from the body shop you went to. Make sure the name of the place, phone number, and estimator's name are shown.
2) A photocopy of your ownership of your black Audi. You can blank out personal information like licence number, address, etc., but please leave visible a first or middle or last name at least - something somewhat unique, that can be proven to definitely be you should someone compare your posted copy with the original - as well as at least 3 characters of your choice from your licence plate.
3) Evidence that you were quoted $1000 for a week's car rental.
4) Photos of your Audi showing the scratch, including your Michigan licence plate showing those same three characters that appear on the ownership from above.
And please forward to Jack the following (if Jack will not do it, we will find another neutral party to pass this info through) :
1) Name, address and phone number of the attorney, and the name of the woman who scratched your car.
2) Enough information that I can check with the Michigan DOT to verify that there is a black Audi registered in your name. So at a minimum, I require your name and licence number.
I trust you on the $500. And I have paid others here for football pools, charitible donations, etc, so my $250 is good, but if you really insist I will send it to a neutral party first. And I understand I am making you jump through hoops here, so to compensate you for your time and effort for having to do all this work, if I am wrong I will throw in another $100 to cover your costs.
You lose the bet if anything you have stated in this thread up to this point is inaccurate or exaggerated. If it's a grey area or someone tries to wriggle out of this on a technicality, and we can't agree who is more in the right on this within two weeks of you accepting this deal, we put it to a forum vote to decide it. If it all checks out, you win. And if you have been 100% honest to this point, my most sincere apologies.

1. I have the estimate so not a problem. I actually have two. One is a regular estimate and the outher is the padded one that I gave the attorney, which I will be using.
2. My Michigan car registration, you can probably check ownership thru that.
3. That was approx. $1000 for two weeks not one week, the guy said between $800 and $1000. I see I left the word 2 out of my original post, sorry about that.

5. Attorney info not a problem, she owns the building as was a there when it happened, so was her assistant.
6. I will try to comply to everything you want but I will be in Chicago for my sons wedding from 6/22 thru 6/27........so as soon as i have a fax number I will start faxing what I have.
