"the bunker"
""I find traveling out of the country very challenging being on a fast. When I was on a layover in Madrid on my way to Venice, Italy yesterday, the closest thing I could find to a smoothie to get a little protein was a coffee with vanilla ice cream in it. Traveling for 22 hours is very taxing under normal circumstances—but then again, when have we had normal circumstances since the 2000 and 2004 successful coup attempts that have brought BushCo into power?""...............

tsk..tsk

nothing says "morally serious" like coffee with ice cream...... :yup

i think i'm going to fast and only drink chocolate/peanut butter milkshakes from baskin robbins until such time as all my demands are met (or I can't fit through the doorway).......

Screw her. Thks to her son for serving. Screw folks like M Moore and fake tits Ann Cloteeerd. Rush the Lush Dividers all of them. Just bad news and half truth tellers.

It's funny though - I don't even think Sheehan makes the news if not for all the right-wing talking heads constantly bringing her into the limelight. Deep down, they feel some irrational need for tearing down the deranged mother of a dead serviceman. It's always people who've never served in a war being obsessed with her antics. Those who've been there tend to give her space.

I don't see what the obsession is with Sindey Sheehan, she is an American, who's payed the price for her voice. That's the bottom line, leave the lady alone, let her grieve, everyone does it different, this is what it takes to get her through. I would not dismiss her as being deranged, there are many in this country and around the world, that share her pain and view on this war. She has become a tool for the left and the right media.

I find it fascinating that anyone would be intrigued by this story. Where did you find it ? I guess stories like this, is the reason I don't waste my time with tv news, much anymore. You and people like you, seem to revel in drivel like this. What's the point ? This story has as much vale as the ones that try to figure out if the terrorist did something obscene to us before we did something obscene to them. Big Picture; whats the point. Where do you come from that puts you in the position to question weather this mother is morally serious.

I don't give two shits about what Sheehan does, and I am sorry for her loss.

But this story is pretty funny.

Sounds like it is from her blog or something, but that is just a guess.

now...now bryanz...lets not prove ann coulter right....

we are all sorry for cindy`s loss....her son`s a hero who actually reenlisted......but,she put herself squarely in the debate with comments like she made right here in theis article....

""Traveling for 22 hours is very taxing under normal circumstances—but then again, when have we had normal circumstances since the 2000 and 2004 successful coup attempts that have brought BushCo into power?""...............

you attack politically...you`ll get a response...and personal tragedy, which we have ALL suffered, does not give you immunity to attack politically with impunity....

i posted the article for some comic relief...nothing more...

btw...i pulled the aticle from politicalaffairs.net....

.
Fine -- uh how many millions of Americans make comments about Bush like this? Why is the right so obsessed with her? Why do they (or you) care what she has to say or do more than what anyone has to say or do?

i always thought that a fast means giving up food, not just giving up chewing.....

guess it`s called a "rolling fast"because by the time she's done "fasting" on ice cream, we can roll her off the plane when she gets home....

rimshot......

lighten up,my buddy... :grins:

The most wound up guy on this forum always tellin people to "lighten up".

Your right - she does seem to have a very "liberal" definition of fasting.

the right is going to note her antics & who is with her & use it as fodder come the november elections.they are going to associate her with the democratic party & scare people into voting for the more "sensible" republican candidates.

we have seen this time & time again that no matter what the republicans do...the democrats will come along at the wrong time & allow the liberals to run amuck (sp ?) in their party & show the american people that they should not hold office.

we have seen this in the late 1960's, the 1970's, the 1980's and so on.

finally when clinton showed the dems how to win office.......the dems go back to their liberal ways.

it's too bad because the republicans should be held accountable by a stronger opposition party or parties.

Rove is a genius at making his enimies look foolish. He even did it to McCain when he ran against Bush in 2000. A grieving mother is childs play for his evil genius.

rove is not convincing sheehan to act like this. what she is doing on her own is "meat" for all consultants...democrats & republicans alike.

Al the same could be said about anyone Rove has worked over. We only know about these people what the "liberal" press wants us to know.
