The 65th Square
now now

a very nice day so far going 3-0

with a push on the orioles game

that triple play over on the o's game was 8-1 in the top of the 6th inning

and conine got robbed of a homer

hate to push those games

the over was the right play

now let's get some runs in this angels game for a nice 4-0 day

who is with me?

whats the over? never really bet totals, im almost as bad as picking overs as I am picking NBA sides...lol...I have the Angels myself, so ill def root for an offensive explosion on their side...Santana was on fire up until this tie, and now theirs a man on 3rd with one out...runs are starting to come in...i could see both of these pitchers getting lit up, Santana has been on fire as of late and every young pitcher has a letdown after catching fire...unlike vets they dont adjust and finally teams get a good read on them and boom they blow them up...rooting for your over, Angles 7-3 in a dream world would be nice

Santana: one hit through 2 innings with 4 k's...3rd inning: 2 TRIPLES and 2 ER's...hate going against these streaking young pitchers because when I dothey throw no hitters, when I bet them they always F me...Liriano the other night (bet against him and won for once), but otnight I should have known Santana was due for a letdown...2 triples is worst than 2 Solo Shots in my opinion, they set up big innings and automaticall put the runner 90 feet from home and ive always noticed teams with multiple triples in a game tend to end up nailing all the gaps and scoringruns in bunches..uh oh, hope Shields has a lil letdown himself after 2 solid innings

THEIR YA GO NAPOLI....Love this kid...on pace for a 20HR season, kid is the future of this Angels team...him and Santana....Santana has thrown a gem except for that 2 triiple inning that I thought would throw him off his guard, but no sweat he is pulling together....Napoli is the next Piazza IMO ... and how ironic that he begins his career in the same city that Big Mike did, but with the hometown rival....look at Napoli's minor league #'s his 2 full seasons before being called up:

2004 A-Rancho Cucamanga- .282 BA/29 HR/118 RBI in 132 games, HUGE minor league numbers even though he strick out 166 times in his 482 at bats...he either struck 1/3 of the time, or got on base the other 1/3 of the time...pure POWER hitter

then 2005 with AA-Arkansas

while only hitting .237, Napoli still hit 29 Bombs and drove in 99 RBI's in 43 less at bats, but still struck out 140 times...

This kid is the real deal...He has proven that when he does hit, he does damage. A few years in the bigs and with Scoscia showing him some patience at the plate to where he can wait on the right pitch instead of swining for the fences each pitch, I can see a number of 35+ HR's/125+ RBI seasons under his belt. The kid is a pure power hitter, and being that the Angels are my fav team (I gave up on my pads when they traded away Oli Perez and JASON Bay and another rising star for Giles, who had just finished leaving his prime...the guy sucks now, he gets on base at a high rate, but he doesnt do any damage or bring in even 2/3's of the RBI's we expected him to bring with his line drive type of hitting)...Hopefully the Angels move Napoli to first base in a couple years so they dont lose a future 40HR hitter because of cather knees

vyrus858, base of the definition of Round robin from Infinity sports... " Round Robins are offered in football and can be mixed with other sports. A round robin is a wager where 3-6 teams are selected and all possible combinations of 2 or 3 team parlays are made from the selections. To place this wager you must decide on your selections and the amount you want to risk for each parlay. To figure out your total risk, multiply the number of teams by the number of teams -1 and then divide that number by 2. So if you selected 3 teams the total number of individual parlays would be 3. You then decide to risk $100 on each parlay making your risk $300 to win $780. Round Robins containing 3 team parlays must be from 4-6 teams."

So the way I bets it might not be call round robin... All my bet are local books at -110 OV/UN only, I played LAA OV, SD OV and PIT OV straight up then laa o/sd o par, laa o/pit o par, sd o/pit o par. That make give me 6-0 for the night SU and PARLAY. I learned this from BadAngel, he called it "Flat and Chain". Hope that make sense.

Lucena, did you push with BAL OV... I got 9.5, it was 8-1 going into bottom of 6th and neither team can do jack!!! Thanks for the plays, especially LAA OV. I took a risk and triple up on LAA OV since I lost on BAL OV.
