twice inside the akron 3 yard line.

zero points.

fumble. blocked field goal.
not to mention an inability to recover the ball in the endzone for 6 instead of kicking it around for a safety.

if youre keeping track at home,

thats two separate drives to get inside minny's 1-yd line on opening day.
zero points.

twice inside army's 5-yd line in week two.
zero points.

a fumble inside miami's 2-yd line in week 3.

and now zero points after being inside akron's 3 twice.

kent had the ball for more than 10:00+ in the first quarter and trail.

im sure kent has well over 100 total yards.
and they trail in a game theyve dominated.

I've been watching this one on FSN, and Kent State is going to win this one. Just one more loss for me. I can't believe how disinterested Akron looks.

kent touchdown.

spack -- kent is playing well. but i think zips set up as a very nice 2h play. kent's running game isn't consistent enough to run out the clock or get critical first downs. they're better in a wide open set.

You were saying.....

This is ugly. Not only am I losing every bet, but I am losing very badly. This is an awful defensive performance.

been way too busy to visit this forum often, but attended the game today and was amazed at KSU's dominance in this one. Edelman was unbelievable, he looked quicker than Troy Smith, and his accuracy was spot on, all day long. Kent's defense played with a ferocity that is rarely seen in this conference and took the fight right out of the Zips. Quite simply, they kicked Akrons ass all over the field and it could have been worse.

If kent can stay anywhere close to this level of performance the rest of the season the East is theirs.
