PS3 pre-order's start in the morning at 10am. $100 deposit secures you one when they come out on the 17th of November. I guarantee they will go for atleast $2,500 in December. Quick way to make 2 dimes.

Xbox 360's were $399 last year and around christmas were bringing $2,000-$2,500 on ebay up until Christmas.

I got a phone call tonite from EBgames themselves. I signed up last January to get a phone call the night before pre-orders begin. They called tonite and said you can pre-order them starting at 10am in the morning at all EBGames and gamestops.

awsome, thanks man. I think me and my buddies are going to do it, have you heard anything about supply of ps3 coming out? Is sony planning on not releasing anymore until after christmas after the initial launch, much like xbox and ps2?

exact same release numbers as the 360. Also, keep an eye on the Nintendo Wii. It is going to do the same thing. It comes out November 19th, only 330k units prior to christmas. ps3 gonna release 370k. 360 last year 360k units prior to christmas.

american parents (some) are idiots when it comes to presents for kids at christmas. will pay stupid amounts for gifts that are way overpriced and just popular.

He said he is not sure yet as they are not told how many units they have - as soon as he knows he is going to call me.

you can go to the gamestop website and signup to receive an email when they have their online pre-order for both the PS3 and Wii.... it doens't say anything about the instore sale for the Wii

Yeah I walked past the EB on my way to work and asked the girl working there out of curiosity what happened this morning.

She said people were lined up at 5am, and they were able to fill 14 orders.

No more Pre-orders for launch day. Today was the day to do it and every EB/Gamestop sells out as soon as they open.

If you want to get one- camp out in front of BestBuy, Target - any place that sells video game systems, they will have a few on launch day.
