Ok, a couple of weeks ago USC was -17 at WSU and now Cal is only -7.5 there? Maybe I'm alone here but I think Cal is a better team than SC. And even if they're not better, I don't think there should be a 10 point difference in the line between the two teams. Anyone else think this line is way too low?

Be careful.... Wazzu is a notoriously hard place to play and they are a very underrated squad this year. I think Cal will cover but I would stay away

the last time cal won at pullman jimmy carter was president! they are 0-9 in last nine visiting northwest.
this is the type of line that the public will pound all week, especially after the unimpressive win vs. oregon st. by cougars.

After being to every Cal home game this year, I am convinced this is the best team Cal has ever had.

Nate Longshore is one of the most accurate passers in the country. Most TD's in NCAA. He had a bad game at Tennessee and that is the game the public remembers. He has gotten better every game.

Marshawn Lynch is the real deal and Forsett can come in and mix it up.

Great special teams, punter can change field position.

Defense just held Oregon(avg. 40 pts. per game) to 24. And the last TD was when the game was out of reach.

Yes Wazzu is a tough place to play, but Cal is ready. Cal has covered every board game since Tennessee.

CAL WINS BY DOUBLE DIGITS

This is definitely a homer play. But I also believe the numbers concur.

Devilfan, I respectfully disagree with you on this and I agree with Swing Doctor that this is the best team Cal has had in a while. I have the Bears winning the Pac 10 and think they will handle the Cougars and cover this number with no problem.

Hmmmm... differing opinions... I like it! I will probably stay away because I don't typically bet on road faves, I just thought the line was funky. This Cal team is unbelievably good... top 10 for sure. I realize homefield is enormous in college foots but I just don't think Wazzu is a very good team this year and I get the feeling Cal won't look past them. If Cal doesn't show up it could get interesting. If they do, I think they win by at least 2 TDs. Just my opinion. Thanks for the responses fellas...

USC may have been -17, but they could have
easily lost that game. Probably why the line is
low, plus Cal off a huge game with Ducks.

So. Cal
cal is a very good team this year and may actually find their way to the rose bowl by beating sc.....too bad they came out and got drilled at tenn or they would be in the bcs title game hunt

they are vastly superior to wazzu and i think they handle them fairly easily in pullman which would be against the grain for cal teams of the past, but this cal team is firing away right now with longhore-lynch-jackson (stud)

cal covers

The line is low now because of Lynch's status... he is playing, jump on board now!!!! Plus CAl never plays well in Washington or Wash St.

Keep in mind, after a huge win in Oregon, CAL enteres their "easiest" part of their schedule for the next month, it might be hard to get up for these games.
