"the bunker"
you guys are disrepecting the fact that they are being disrespected? That's just down right disrepectful. Fla gets some sloppy 2nd's from Arkansas' beeyatches this weekend.

well said...very nifty turn of phrase.....:grins:

i like auburn,btw...no disrespect intended...

So. Cal
when people continue to question your talent after beating the likes of tennessee, alabama, and LSU, i qualify that as disrespect.

who is questioning fla talent on a national scale? NOBODY. You said that Fla loves it when they are disrespected, but nobody is disrespecting fla at all on the national scale, and unless they all read madjacks, and even then i dont think too many are disrespecting them.

i guess i just imagined all the pundits talking about how LSU gave the game to florida...how urban's offense is just a gimmick...how florida hasn't done anything because they have only played once away from home...etc. etc.

let's ask mark may how he feels about the gators.:mj07:

Love the Gators, BUUUUUTTTT, that opening line just looked like the major TRAP. U R right, FLA destroyed LSU and Auburn looked like sh*t, so what gives? Auburn struggled with Buffalo at home for chrissakes. Something smells fishy and it may be toasted gator. It doesn't make sense in my brain but the vegas line sure speaks to me.

My preseason power ratings have Florida @ the top. The schedule is tough but just ask yourself: Which team has the QB advantage? Florida is a very talented team with good atheletes and could win out. I have heard alot of people say that Urban Meyer's football wouldn't work in the SEC. Give me the points; I played Florida+2 and just smiled.

Best Wishes

auburn won't lose two straight at home.

florida will get behind and won't be able to play catch-up...giving 2 is a gift.

Man, I hope your right Teddy... I would love to see my beloved Gators win this game... If they can somehow get by Auburn they could run the table !!! This game really scares me... My gut is telling me that Auburn wins by a field goal... But I hope I'm wrong... We'll find out... am2kidz

I am fairly certain Aub will not muff a punt and a kickoff, and chances are that Aub will not fumble at the gator 1 yd line.

:cursin: :cursin: did u have to remind me about that :cursin: i was just getting over that kinda and i have to read this chit again :com: :sadwave:

do u truely believe in your gaytor heart that fla won that game cause they were that good...u are smoking some dry gator chit, LSU should have won that game if not for those stupid turnovers they made themselves and the fockin refs calling ticky tac chit on them. 9 out of 10 times if the same LSU team played FLA in gainsville LSU would win, don't put them on a high horse yet based on the LSU game :nono: they got lucky and thats it and no ifs or buts about it :com:

LSU would win in in Gainesville 9 out of 10 times? Hmm, you sound delusional. And there is no need to be so hostile. I'm sorry you lost 2 grand. I tried to warn you out of the goodness of my heart. Florida beats Auburn 31-14.

If it seems too good to be true.....go the other way. Why is a team that just got their ass handed to them by a nobody favored over the #2 team in the country? There's a reason.

Oh, don't forget about the book trying to get even money on both sides......give me a goddamn break. This game stinks and I'll be on Auburn.

I almost never chime in on a thread in which someone is posting their plays, but I'll make an exception to say thanks a lot for such an entertaining discussion underway in this thread regarding a classic football capping scenario. Keep it going, guys. Now I'll be even more interested in this game come Saturday.

Since I'm here . . . I gotta agree that this SEC "spot" looks like Auburn is the right side, so I'll make a small wager on them, but I have a small futures wager on Urban Meyer and the Gators, so I'm actually pulling for Teddy all the way to have the last word here in his thread.

And I love a good milkshake.

auburn hung a whopping 7 points on LSU and should have lost were it not for the refs. they struggled at home against Buffalo. they struggled against South Carolina and should have lost. they were pounded by arkansas....how about last year when they were manhandled by a mediocre wisconsin team in the bowl game? last time i checked most top 3 preseason teams weren't stomped the year before in a bowl game against a 2nd tier big ten squad. yet, the moron writers ordained them elite. for one reason or another, auburn is a team generally sympathized with. maybe it has something to do with the fact that they were left out a couple of yeaars ago and now people feel sorry for them. people, auburn is not what a lot of people thought they would be at the beginning of the season. this game has shifted from florida having to go on the road and face a great opponent to a game where florida must simply come to play, not kill themselves with turnovers, and not fall to an SEC west opponent like they have in so many instances over the years. but now, florida is the BETTER TEAM. there is no doubt in my mind that urban meyer will have his team ready. what? auburn cant lose 2 in a row at home? why not? this isnt a movie. you think because auburn lost last week, florida isnt going to come and play to win the game because "hey, auburn can't lose 2 in a row at home. thats impossible!" NO. i have seen no valid argument for auburn other than 1.) they lost last week. they sure are mad. 2.) it's at jordan-hare stadium 3.) florida is no good because they only beat tennessee, alabama, and LSU but didnt hang spurrier-esque numbers. they shoulda lost to LSU....well, auburn should have lost to LSU and South Carolina...auburn's DTs are undersized. their starting Center is out. kenny irons is slowed by an injury and his backup Lester is likely not going to play. Brandon Cox is hurt; he's a sitting duck back there. Auburn has allowed 14 sacks in the last 4 games, and it is likely to get worse with the absence of the starting center and once AU realizes it is impossible to run on the Gator defense. As soon as someone gives me one legitimate reason why auburn will win other than the classic, "hey they were preseason #2 (even though this same team was trounced by wisconsin to end last season) and they lost last week. no way they are that bad."--then I will listen.

Look, I loved Florida against LSU, however, they are going to get beatin like a red headed step childe this week... don't take Florida with any confidence...

I already talked to Auburn alums, they can't believe Auburn is favored, will you know what, they are going to cover and win easily... mark my words.

Hey Guys. I have been following this story all week and I think you guys should consider that Urban Meyer is the key to this game. If you have watched Florida all year, they simply out coach every team they play. For example: Last week, if you knew that Tebow was going to run to the line and then jump over people to make a toss pass in the back of the endzone, please let me know. Everyone is the world knew a run was coming, but Coach Meyer fooled everyone. Another example, Tebow faking the run again and passing it down the field for another Touchdown in a runing situation. You want another example, how about Coach Meyer putting in a QB draw for Chris Leak late in the second half. Who saw that coming? The LSU Tigers didn't see any of that. That is why I feel Auburn may be at home and may need a win badly in the SEC, I think Urban Meyer will simply out coach them. Urban Meyer is a WINNER. Everywhere he goes, he Wins. Now he is doing it in the SEC. Now lets talk about the Auburn coaching staff. In my opinion it is there fault they lost last week because they were looking ahead and didn't prepare their team properly for Arkansas. I feel that they thought they had enough pure talent to win and that wasn't the case. Urban Meyer will guide the Florda Gators to a win.
