UConn -4.5 over Army ***
Conn owns this series winning 47-13,40-3,and 48-21 in the last 3 yrs. "That 137-37 combined." But army is better this yr. losing to T-Am and baylor by a few pts.Conn in past 3 games have lost by a total of 79-33.Conns has some injuries esp in the backfield and Edsall kicked 5 players off the team this week.Conn had depth problems that 3 players kicked off the team for drinking the nite before last weeks game were allowed to play the next day. Then all 5 were sent packing.Glad coach has such high standards..break the rules drinking...but need you for So fl today.After the game ..thanks you gone..
Anyway Conn has a stud in Caulley as a RB. Army defense will have trouble stopping him behind a huge OL. Army D is pretty good but think they have problems today.Army beat VMI 62-7 last week.But Armys offense with Pevoto are bad.He can't read defenses and has no touch throwing.Conn defense isn't that good either but there quicker and i think that is the key.No blowout like the old days but uconn should win by 10 to 14 pts.
Navy -3 over Rutgers **
RU is ranked. Navy cannot stop RU's running back. Rice is all american.But Teel is a mediocre QB.Tucker RU's top WR is out.RU has had 2 weeks to look at navys offense.RU is ranked as one of the best defensive teams in US. But look who they have played.Navy attack is now on 5 cylinders.Missing one is air attack.But there loaded.This team is constantly in 3rd and 3 or 4th. and they get the 1st down.Keep the ball away from Rice and co. RU just got by So fl by 2 on the road.navy covers after some 4th qrt late scores. Like the over but don't see any numbers on that.
Both defenses cannot stop each other..
Tulsa -3 over ECU ***
ECU playing great.Tip RB out last week and they beat UVA. But Allison there star WR probaly won't play today.Pickney needs him vs Tulsa's defense.Like Tulsa to beat the Pirates and cover.
So Fl -3 over NC **** [ best bet]
After watching Grothe at Qb there is no way NC defense can contain him.He ran for 3 vs Conn and threw a couple.NC is hurting. So Fl lost to Rutgers by 2.They should have no problems with NC.Best bet
UAB -5 over Rice ***
UAB not great but Rice defense. only stooped Army offense. Tulane scored 38 pts last week vs the owls.UAB almost beat OU on the road.Beat Memphis and ECU. Lost to Miss st by 6.Rice played tougher teams .Texas and FSU did score a combined 107 pts.
West Vir -25 over Cuse ***
Cuse has a Qb that cannot pass indoors with a temp of 72 degrees and no wind.Outside in Morganstown today..Forget it. WV rolls big despite Cuses improved defnses.
Mich -5 over Penn St ***
Mich wins this by 10-17 pts.Lions offense will not be able to move the ball with any consistency.Mich meanwhile will ger several big time plays and win.
