My vote is for somewhere in Kentucky. My reasoning, I assume Kentucky is pretty central for everyone involved. That's still quite a drive for me, depending on what part of Kentucky we are talking about. Louisville is obviously the farthest point in Kentucky for me, and that's about an 8-9 hour drive or so. What are people's thoughts about Kentucky?

OK, Mr 3 clubs

probably do just as well with 1 wedge and putter.

Listen you two clowns. I have played(only once, but still) since the outing last summer.

Jack and I played a round down in Panama in a scramble(I think?) or best ball or whatever during Super Bowl weekend and he can attest that I broke out the 'big boy' (cool way of saying 'driver') at least 5 or 6 times.

That club is now a part of my arsenal.

In our Indiana round I think we used a whopping 5or 6 of my shots. In Panama I think we used 1. This is because I was tweaking my game and never really got untracked.

Clint,

Sometimes we mock what we don't understand. I still hope that we can be teammates again, though.

Andy,

You have never seen me in action. Sometimes three clubs are better than 9. Keeps things less complicated.

Wayne,

Yes, I would need a set of lefties if this all comes together, so i'm glad your club has them available.

Tiger,

OUT!

Glad to see your hitting driver more--You contibuted a lot more than 5 or 6--that many on putts alone--We had well balanced team--everyone came through when needed--our pencil just wasn't as sharp as some :)

Yes-thanks for asking.

I will require Calloway woods, Ping irons and a Cleveland blade putter. Thanks, bro.

I think 'putts alone' is all that I added with you guys, but now that i'm hitting driver(big boy), things might be different this summer.

In Panama, it was almost a re-run of us up in Indiana.

In the other cart, on our team, was a Panamanian/American who was a member of the club and knew the course inside and out. Very good golfer and very humble. That was you.

With him was a pretty good golfer, guy from Alabama(although originally from Ohio with an OSU golf bag, so I could be biased) and very nice. That was Clint.

Jack was BBC as he was, ummm, a little under the weather and might have had 5 of his shots count.

I was playing like myself, but worse. I had had 2 hours of sleep(woken up by Jack banging on my door at 7am wanting to get breakfast- i'm not sure if he ever went to sleep) the previous night and when we first met our teammates as we loaded into our carts, I introduced myself and then said, 'i've had 2 hours sleep, I suck at golf anyways, and I don't give a shit.'

The Alabama guy said, 'yeah, you were the guy snoring his ass off in the bus, weren't you?'

It was about a half-hour ride from our hotel to the course and I slept 29:30 of it.

Anyways, I digress. It just struck me how similar how that foursome was to ours last summer.

Matt,

You have played one more time than I have lately:scared

And just to help you out so you can at least "talk" a little game, you can have up to 14 of those club things in your bag:mj07:

I'm all for it then, Jack. What would the closest casino be....for all us gamblers. I know that's important for some (not necessarily me, but i like the occasional blackjack game). I'll even bring my lovely wife....she'll keep me in line. :mj07:

If you guys want a central located course I know a guy that owns a golf course in Boone, Iowa. we could get a tournement or a whole day or two on the course if you want. There is a casino about an hour away from it to.

maybe we should try and gather a few of us Iowa/Nebraska/Minnesota guys and see if we can't get something together for a Saturday PM. Would like to get to this gig in KY or where ever it gets held, but my 7 1/2 month old has got my free weekends down to a bare minimum these days. Boone works for me--2 hours each way. Golf in AM, gamble a bit in PM, home before dark.
Yeah, the casino at Prairie Meadows or we could drive a little farther East and take a few $$ from the Indians at Tama...:D

Also, KC Wolf manages a golf course over on this side of Iowa; he could probably get something set up for us. His course is only 9 holes, though...

Quite the opposite.

Lets just say, I don't think I'd be gettin a good nights sleep at the Days Inn out on Route 65.

(imagine Eddie start to daydream at his computer)

Days Inn night manager, Gomer Platt talking to Warren County, Kentucky sheriff Buford Pusser in the parking lot of the Days Inn on the Sunday morning following Madjacks 2nd annual golf outing:

"Well, Sherriff, I saw, these two gentlemen, dressed in white robes with white hoods carrying this skinny looking, northern aclu lawyer type, kicking and a screaming off to there pick-up truck about 3 AM"

"Damn yankees, causing more trouble," noted Buford in disgust. "Did the yankee say anthang," queried Sheriff Pusser.

"Well, he had duck tape over his mouth, but I heard him say "Wayne, you're a liar" then the little, scrawny guy hit him over the head with a brief case and all these insurance policies fell out".

Pusser further asked, "One was smaller than the other?"

"Yeah", Platt continued, "the big guy was about 6' 5" and the other one was a lot smaller."

"How bout da, pick-up?" asked the sheriff.

Gomer thought for a moment, then replied,

"it was red and rusty, with a gun rack. It had kentucky plates and it had something hand painted on the door. I think it said:

"midwest states ensurants"

Gomer continued "...it also had a Fox news bumper sticker and a link to a web site nobody ever heard of."

"Well, this is one for the ages," said the Sheriff. "Case closed, looks like the yankee done gone off and left." "No crime here," concluded 8 term Sheriff Pusser. "Right," agreed fellow Republican Gomer Platt.

Eddie wakes up from his daydream

What about Chicago?
