saw these pics today and it gave me the chills, member of another board lost his brother who was with the us army in iraq

wow---that just tore me up--so sad
makes me realize how very lucky i am to have the people i do in my life and not to take it for granted---God Bless all of our troops

The loss of this American hero is tragic. I welled up looking at photos.

...and with all due respect and sensitivity...

...but once you join the army, your chances of dying in a war increase significantly, right? :shrug:

Not for one second do I think it's not a terribly sad loss for all involved...but take a photo of any funeral. Hell of a lot of people out there dying every day.

I agree as well.... What makes it any worse to die in a war? I completely disagree with the war.... but I support the troops...

but they signed up for it? When someone dies... no matter what the circumstances... it is miserable and sad.
