Save your commentary; bet sports, look at porn, whack your pud, paint your house, do community service, collect litter, anything rather than bitching like cranky old women at the grocery store; it is not productive...

The smart guy/Obama, picked mendoza... I know, you have a problem identifying smart people, especially ones that utilize and maximize their assets to their fullist but.......Why do you think Obama talked about the fierce urgency of now ? It had little to do with Dr King... The chace to replace bush/cheney was a once in a lifetime... If not now, when ? You don't have to be Nancy Reagan to see, the moon, sun and stars. Even the ducks & pigeons lined up.... If I believed in conspiracies : I would bet that bush/cheney were on the payrolls of both binladen & Obama.... binladen got what he wanted for Christmas, every year for the last 8.... Obama should ask the rev wright to ask God to bless bush/cheney for making this all possible. ... I KNOW, THE SURGE IS WORKING.. JUST LIKE IT WAS PLANED... ASK binladen, what effect the bush/cheneny reaction to 911 had on the American Economy.... I guess some smart guys don't ask or think about that question !

I would also comment that most Republicans I talked to knew very well that Sarah Palin was a stooge of the highest order. That was a pick that John McCain made to mollify Rove, Limbaugh and Sean O'Hannity and it backfired.
.................................................................

I honestly think they had a agenda to throw McCain under the bus by encouraging the pick
of Palin

And the sad thing is that McCain allowed the very ones that tried to destroy him years ago, to get involved again, instead of picking his own trusted
people.

Next up: the Auto industry. Only history will tell us if the bailouts prove to be a wise investment of our tax dollars. I just get tired of the right labeling the left as socialists when we live in a society that reaps the benefits of both capitalism and socialism in every aspect of our lives.
................................................................

its not capitalism to bail out car industries.

I know it affects so many areas of our economy, but GM and Ford and the rest knew this was coming. They knew ! for years and they did nothing but build Hummers and Yukons.

How can we reward that stupidity in any way ?

there has to be a better way.

Wouldn't you have liked to sit in the boardroom in the late 90s and early 2000s when they made the decisions to stake it all on SUVs and bigger cars? Unbelievable myopia and stupidity. We have already bailed out Chrysler and that didn't work in the long term so it will be interesting.

No, it's not capitalism, any more than tax cuts for the middle-class is socialism. That's my point.

All Americans benefit from both free-market capitalism and a socialistic government. It's absurd to claim otherwise.

Nice comeback imbecile. Why don't you address a stupid decision rather than calling people "leftys". I will call out a stupid decision on either side and fyi I think Joe Biden is a mediocre choice in terms of the garbage that comes out his mouth. Look in the mirror and realize that your party has botched 2 strait elections including 2006 by riding the W bandwagon off the side of a cliff.

Obama is a bit short on experience, but his tremendous charisma and leadership skills are what got him elected. Hopefully he will show that he is not an empty suit, by kowtowing to the left-wing
pressure that he will be confronted with. A good start would be to not go anywhere near a bailout for our inept auto industry. If the banking industry
fails, the country is totally decimated, but we can't keep bailing out incompetece and bad decisions.

If Obama sees it differently, he will likely be another Jimmy Carter. We need him to come through, and rise to the challenge.

very logical thinking about President Elect Obama

I said the same thing many times in response to DTB constant questioning his experience, foolishly as he did over and over.

If DTB reads this prepare to be slashed and diced up. He is from KKKentucky you know.

Under a mask.
OBSERVE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA ON THE NATIONAL AND GLOBAL SEEN THE LAST TWO YEARS AND STILL WOUNDER ABOUT BASIC ACCOMPLISHMENT,EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS; TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITES STATES OF AMERICA ? I Have to believe that most people in positions of power & wealth, would want someone like Obama on their side if they wanted something to fall their way. How do you get from his point A to this point in his life, without being someone that could finish near the top of any class you put him in ? How do these same people say that Palin is more qualified, when she is the least qualified to appear on any presidential ticket in modern history ? I don't know why I even address this absurd stupidity but it's dumbfounding & must be confronted. Who are these people and what is their major malfunction ? On a side note : of living up to the hype. One person that I can think of, living up to enormous hype and delivering more that most expected is TIGER WOODS ? On a second note : if every American, those for Obama and against him, expect of themselves what they do from Obama, America will be just fine. Obama is the first to say, it's not about me, it's about you. Funny how the right never mentions, Obama's constant message on personal responsibility & accountabilty ? Two "small" things missing, in the long line of the missing under bush/cheney ! some say rezko, some say keating..rev wright/haggie...ayers/gaddafi.....http://bravenewfilms.org/blog/40410-mccain-linked-to-terrorist-libyan-regime Time for OUR GOVERNMENT TO GO BACK TO WHAT MOST AMERICANS DO EVERY DAY & WHAT WE PAY THEM FOR ! 3rd note : Why does bush/cheney/mccain/rice : WANT TO SIT DOWN WITH LIBYAN REGIME ? Why these terrorist and not Iran ? Follow the money..... They talk about principle but it's always about wealth for a few, made on the backs of American Tax Payers.

Answer is easy. The conservative one is to busy woundering about ,socialism, marxism, terrorist, shady friends, facism, racism, gee I could go on and on here.

All awhile ,I remind myself that there in the minority. Then I realise this country still has hope.
