my first beer gets popped when i get a steady 230 degree temp on my grill and it's getting close ;)

the baby back ribs go on at 230 degrees, raised direct, for 3 hours, then they get foiled for one hour at 230 and then direct lower for one hour basting and turning every 15 minutes. then they get foiled and put into an un-iced cooler for the last hour while the veggies get cooked for 30-45 minutes at 300. obviously a salad will be served with strawberry shortcake for desert.

this is fun. overnight i have become a gourmet cook! seriously!

Thats awesome. I got some ribs in my near future as well. Little pool time with my best bud and our families, arguing over who's man-tits are better, grilling, and watching the Red Wings. This rain can toss my salad - my fat a$$ is swimming and cooking out!

Glad to hear the egg is working for ya. :mj06:

number 1 budweiser.

just flipped the ribs for the first time and hit them with a fine spray of apple juice. the temperature is holding steady at 230 degrees and they are starting to smell great from the smoke pouring out of the top!

double foil wrapped the ribs and poured in about 8 ounces of apple juice and gonna let them go for hour number 4.

amazing that the temp has remained at 230 degrees.
