I get this message all too frequently...

File not found

Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertieswww.facebook.com.

* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.

* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

this certain time, I was trying to access facebook and my homepage, google. Got the same error for both, this stupid "jar file". This site, however worked just fine, and I was playing facebook poker in another window, and it was working just fine.

Any ideas??

Have you tried IE and see if it does the same thing?

it does. Actually, I have found that if I unplug my modem and plug it back in, it usually works. I just don't understand why this happens all the time though. Why also will it connect to madjacksports but not google?? weird...

Tell you what - get Clay to lend you a modem and see if it works without having to reset and all that bullshit. My guess is - is that it is not necessarily a modem problem, but a plug and play issue with your modem.

there is a lot in here but man that kb article is 100x better than any microsoft one.

I would for sure try to clear the cache etc. Do you have a router in the setup also? Could be the router. What about any other computers in the house, do they have this issue.

Do you have any toolbars installed? Disable these by using tools/add-on's from FireFox toolba

Looks like a similar issue and most of the people removed some ask toolbar/add on

now if I could just fix gmroz's pc, but doesn't look like I can,
don't have an ask toolbar
