was just wondering if any of you have crossed over to the Macs yet? I just bought an iMac to compliment my Macbook and 3 other computers for business and OMG is this thing so sharp. I regret not getting the 27 inch one but man this one is so fun to mess around with.

Thought I would see what you guys think of their machines.

I purchased the iMac and Dell desktop a day after Thanksgiving with all of the deals. The Mac got here in no time, the Dell says it is still in production and won't be here till December 19th. These are both standards as well didn't customize at all.

Long time Mac user, have had little to no trouble with them throughout many years of dedicated, heavy use. I bought one PC laptop two years ago - Dell - and have had multiple problems with it... just get something taken care of and another problem pops up.

To each their own, but now with the new Macs and the new Mac Parallel Desktop which allows you to run PC programs, supposedly seamlessly, I can't imagine why I'd ever want anything else.

Of course, they are more expensive, as a rule. Better products usually are... :)

As a Mac user - I feel like printing up some pamphlets and going door to door trying to convert people to Mac.

I laugh when I see people looking at PC's at Best Buy. I think that they have thoughts in their head like...

"I might buy this...."

I just laugh and laugh......go Mac and you'll never go back.

PC's are gay.

This is where I am at. The only reason I have the PC's is I don't like running Parallels (windows) on my Mac.

I download the shit out of the one and never have had viruses, popups on browser, or spyware crap.

I've had the iMac for two days now and its so sick. The wireless mouse is so pimp, so much different then other wireless mouses I've used.

The last 3 years I've owned a mac and I've grown to despise Microsoft anything (except Office which I use on my Mac). No headaches and I've had a PC since 1992 (28.8 baud modem too)

Go with a Mac!

Go with a Mac!

I only own Macs, but I'm forced to use a PC at work which sucks. One thing I do like is Google Chrome, the new google browser. It just came out today for Macs in a beta version. I use safari right now, but I'm going to see which one I like better. Macs are superior to PC's.

Lol. I will admit that they are priced higher but they are more durable and I'm not really a techie dork. I just don't like down time at work in the office. It's probably the only tech expense I make each year besides netflix.

Reason why is - many people are locked into PC's.

So many people have software that they need to use for work and that software will only run on a PC.

Mac has a flaw - and that is it doesn't have many developers writing code for Mac as they do PC.

Slowly - but surely - Mac is gaining on PC's in terms of software.

Also - here is the "big" understanding - PC's are cheap in price and Mac's aren't.

Imagine standing next to a Chevy Malibu and an Acura. One is better, but is cost more.

If you were to operate a Mac for one month - you would be a changed man.

Thanks bud

I had thought of getting one before because not many hackers (virus's) mess with them.

--but being a dummy to new stuff and being able to navigate PC's will prob stay in my comfort zone.

Hey, guys, what makes the Google Chrome browser so nice? People seem to really like it so far.

really fast and smooth...since it just came out, not much time for people who make all the bad shit to come up with anything yet...but give it time :mj07:

i heard rumors of google chrome getting all of your info though and using it to target ads towards you and what not just by tracking everything you do online  dont know much about it or the validity of the rumor
