anyone talking about the Cowboys winning their first playoff game and now going to the Superbowl is not far fetched. Yes, I am a Cowboys fan, have always been and always will be. Here's the thing though, this isn't the same team as it was in 96 or 97 or 98 or even last year. Yes Wade Phillips is the coach, and Tony Romo is the qb, but the ATTITUDE is different. Yes Roy Williams is a cry baby and not as good as he thinks, but nobody really cares. If you haven't noticed, Romo throws to 8 different guys. If Williams bitches, well "f-him" is the attitude. It is finally a team, which it hasn't been in 13 years. This isn't some crazy delusion. This team has been lights out defensively the last 5 games, basically giving up less than 8 points per game with 2 shutouts. Romo has never been better. Whether he has finally matured I don't know, but his patience and knowing when to get rid of the ball without costing his team is a big reason they have been successful the last part of the year.
Everyone is saying how tough Minnesota is. Ok, I will give you that if you are talking about the first 8 games of the season. And yes they were 8-0 at home. Did you happen to see who they beat? And if it wasn't for the "luck of Favre" on the last play of the SF game, they wouldn't be undefeated there. That really doesn't matter now, with it being win or go home, but I will take the HOT team over the team who has lost 3 of their last 5 to teams like Chi and Car and has obvious locker room problems with Favre and Childress. Less drama and the hotter, better team will win.

you are a homer so your pick lacks credibility no offense but I am on the Cowboys as well so you should be safe!:toast:

right and anytime someone says no offense

right and anytime someone says no offense

they are being offensive:00hour
Anyways I don't hide the fact I'm a fan but the difference is I don't normally bet on them. Head before heart or you go broke. In no way am I throwing huge coin on the NFL but the few times I have seen value or the wrong team favored, I throw out the info or reasoning behind it.
All I keep seeing is the Cowboys are horrible in December, Phillips and Romo can't win a game in the post season, etc. This is not the same team that could win you money by betting against them.
GL to you though given you have money on them

Divisional games

Divisional games

Balt +7 small play on ML as well

Colts haven't won in a month. And as we have seen before, hot teams at the end of the season with solid defenses tend to outperform their seeding. Yes I understand the Colt's haven't been trying, but using momentum from last week, Baltimore's defense will be ready and the run game will prevail and keep Indy's high octane offense off the field. Infact, before the playoffs started, I felt Baltimore had a great chance to make it to the AFC Championship game. I love Baltimore's run game and think they can pull off the upset if they stick with the run. Run Ray Rice Run:toast:

Cowboys ML x2

For above reasons, this team reminds me of the NYG two years ago. Swarming defense, team first attitude, Romo playting as well as any qb in the league. If Vikes try to have Favre win it, they will get killed. Their only shot is to control the clock with Peterson but we have seen what he does on primetime. If Arizona and Carolina can shut these guys down, can you honestly tell me Dallas won't?

Leans to N.O -7 and SD -9 but no play as of yet

I know I know Jets d this, Jets d-that. Rex Ryan predicting they are the team to beat. If the Colts grab their nuts and play their starters, Jets aren't even in the picture. San Diego is playing lights out. Their defense will give up points but I see SD winning by atleast 10. The only chance I see is if the Jets can keep it close by running the ball and keeping it away from Rivers and company. My take is that San Diego gets out quickly and forces Sanchez to throw the ball, we know what that means. There is only one Revis and so this year there is only one Jets win in the playoffs.
