Raptors -2

NBA record: 17-6 (lost 2 straight)

I just dont understand this line at all? I know Nets
just won a game and then gave the Heat all they
wanted and had them beat...but Wade got hurt
and didnt return to that game... Raptors cant
afford to lose games like this if they want to be
consirdered a top East team.... and this line has
come down too...I guess I will have to be
showed the awesome power of Vegas again...
Raptors by double digits....:00hour :00hour

Good luck and kick ass

MARQUEE MATCHUP

Hedo Turkoglu vs. Yi Jianlian

Battle of two highly touted internationals. When these teams met at the ACC on Feb. 3, Jianlian had a team-high-tying 15 points and seven rebounds in a 108-99 loss. Turkoglu was not in the lineup sitting out the second game after suffering a slight break in the orbital bone beneath his right eye. With no Chris Bosh, Turkoglu is going to have to rebound from his lacklustre return to the lineup on Wednesday and provide some offence. Turkoglu appeared to be struggling with the protective mask he had to wear against the Grizzlies. Some family concerns back home in Turkey still are weighing on his mind he admitted after the game.

SCOUTING REPORT

The Nets are 1-1 since the all-star break but with any luck at all could have been a perfect 2-0. The Nets went into Charlotte on Tuesday and for the second time this year defeated Charlotte, this time by a score of 103-94. On Wednesday, they hosted Miami and had a six-point lead with 5:46 to go before seeing the Heat finish the game on a 13-4 run leaving the Nets to digest an 87-84 loss. The Nets are picking up their defensive game having held Charlotte to 42% shooting and then Miami to just 39.2% although the latter was a bit tainted as Dwyane Wade did not play beyond the first quarter after straining a calf muscle. The Nets' five wins are easily the fewest in the league this season.

Bosh not the only injured Raptor

Yeah I dont think Bosh is playing and that
scares me a little but not enuf not to bet it
I still pulled the trigger... Raptors still have enuf
talent to take care of the Nets... They will just
rally and try to show Bosh they can win without
him... at least I hope so... wouldnt blame anybody
if they dont bet this play tonight...

Good luck and kick ass

Yes, Bosh is out but apparently for only one game. He is expected to be back Sunday, so it isn't unreasonable to expect the team to rally for this one game and pick it up.

We know that a star being out the first game is not too big a deal anyways, and a lot of players respond because they get more touches with the star out. A chance to prove themselves.

GL and think I'll follow you for a unit. ;)

PG Jarret Jack is also questionable due to personal problems for toronto. He played with them last game but his numbers wee off against Memphis. Not saying who to play, just giving info...

I heard the Raptors were going to suit up the mascot, towel boy, and a couple drunks from the stands and should still be a 4.5 point favorite vs. the putrid Nets.

Nets 50th loss of season?

Nets 50th loss of season?

I've been thinking about this one and doing some research. I'm not sure about the towel boy and the drunks, but the mascot should be good.

Actually, in Bosh's place they will rotate in Rasho Nosterovic, Amir Johnson and another bench guy whose name eludes me right now. They should give very different looks as they move in and out.

And Turkoglu needs to step up with Bosh out, and be big, problems at home or not. Same with Jack. And they should really have a heads up here to leave their personal problems out of it. I'm thinking Jay Triano has made sure they realize this and they should even without being told. And Bargnani should also get plenty of shots tonite, which is always good.

Anyways, I'm doubling up on this one. Don't take this as an invitation to "step out" unless yoiu've done yoiur own analysis.

THX FOR PUTTING OUT YOUR IDEAS, COACH AND OTHERS.
