Well,

I think I will show up to the pool party with a cannon ball. Most Vets could give a shit about Barry, George, Bill, especially Bill, and George showing up to Arlington.

Just so you know,

we don't want these men around heroes!

I am know I am going to catch some major heat over this, so what ?

Skeeter, sorry for your grandmother issues - that's always tough. Good luck with that.

You are ripping those of us who don't share your opinion about Memorial Day and Obama, and criticizing where we got our info. Where did you get your info, other than Savage, perhaps? I've seen several sources stating other president's missing - the most glaring being Bush Sr. who never went to Arlington once.

Please read the Snopes article - it's a site debunking misconceptions and inaccuracies. I note Wayne hasn't been back, so I'd guess he realizes he wasn't completely informed by using his usual sources. Again - where did you get your information?

Sorry Chad Just now seeing this--I generally skim through threads and had seen Scott and the T-brothers had taken over and skipped over.

What was your question Sir?

My point, not really a question, is that you are maintaining that you haven't seen anything different regarding former Presidents not attending Arlington Cemetary for Memorial Day, when there have been posts made, and links made, to info that proves otherwise - and you continue to paint Obama in a bad light because of this.

Just looking to see what you think at this point, and if you are sticking to your "I haven't seen anything to dispute my comment" theme.

Haven't been many miss Arlington Chad--and believe I said I'd give O a pass on something other than attending concert.

It's not so much the the actions as the excuses.

Example I certainly don't blame O for oil spill any more than I would GW for a hurricane--

--but does make me a taded pissed to hear him say hes been on it since day one--and 1st thing he thinks about blah blah blah-

When in fact since spill he never visited till day 13 and since spill has--his "Singular" focus has included--three days of fundraising, four commemorations, six days of vacation, six days of campaigning, six sports events, and seven days of golf---

Here is nice little day by day photo shoot :)
Takes too much band width--photos in link

So, do you give Bush Sr. a pass for doing essentially the same thing Obama did? Or do you condemn him for it?

See, now it's changing to "not many" miss Arlington... the moving target continues to move as it helps the cause. And, now you change the subject to excuses? I don't see him giving any excuses, and easy to see why, since he's done essentially what Republican predecessors had done, and that was never an issue before.

And so it goes... :0008

The answer to that would be no and would also condemn him on more importantant matters--to greater degree I didn't give Bush Sr a pass on going back on his word on more than one occasion.

I though by now you would be aware of my distain for Bush sr. The man had no back bone.
He was a follower-not a leader.
His word carried about as much weigh as O's pledges.
