I've been watching the line movement on this game since Thursday night.

My initial lean right after game 4 was Lakers ML pending Bynum's knee. While the Lakers were able to win last year without Bynum I wasn't so sure that was possible this year against the Celtics.

So it looks like he's going to play but how effective is he really going to be? If he plays like he did in the first 3 games of the series then tonight's game is easy.

Bottom line, sitting on the sidelines waiting to place my bet cost me some juice. I could have gotten Lakers +140 a few days ago, now I'm happy to get Lakers +120. Either way its a win though so screw it.

Playing Lakers +120 2000/2400

Regarding the total, that's a whole different story. I watched the total plummet to 187 while researching betting trends and seeing 70-80% of wagers being placed on the over.

Then just today its back up to 189.

Just don't see this one going over no matter what the public thinks. Vegas handing me 2 more points makes it even easier.

Playing Lakers/Celtics under 189 1100/1000

Hopefully some of you hopped on board with me and cashed 5 straight winning tickets between games 3 and 4. Looking to keep it going tonight.

Best of luck to all.

One of my books must be getting heavy wagers and a ton of action both ways.

I saw the spread go from Lakers-2 to Lakers -1 then back to Lakers -2.5. My other book was showing Lakers +110 ML for a few minutes, then right back to +120.

Seems like a ton of line movement in a really short period of time. Not sure what to make of it, but interesting none the less.

Amazingly (and I checked this info in 2 places) 79% of the freaking wagers have been on the OVER. This is 2 separate books.

Also 81% of the ML wagers have been on the Lakers.

So I'm with the public on one and against the public on the other.

The only difference is the total went DOWN to 187 then back up to 189. This with heavy money coming in on the over.

The ML has moved with the betting trends obviously as the Lakers ML has shrunk from a nice hefty +140 all the way down to +110 in some places.

It may be time to increase my wager on the under. Nothing is decided yet but I'll keep you guys posted.
